We ordered a jalapeno popper burger with no jalepenos and shepherds pie, very bland with no vegetables when it was supposed to stated it came with vegetables in it. When I informed and showed the waitress she did absolutely nothing. No refund or credit offered. Terrible food and poor customer care for $35 worth of garbage.

We had a large rehearsal dinner planned at a local restaurant. Unfortunately things happened and we were left with finding a new spot to seat and serve 33 people in a matter of minutes. A quick phone call to the restaurant and we were on our way! Not only did they seat this large party at the last minute but orders were taken drinks served and food arrived in remarkable time!! Babs and her staff are amazing!! Thank you so much for making a disaster a beautiful memory!!
Really enjoyed our dinner here! We had the sea bass dinner and fish tacos and both were delicious and good size plates. Service was friendly and we didn’t have to wait too long for a busier Saturday night. Will definitely come back next time we’re in town.
Sometimes the food is good, sometimes not so much. Really just depends whos working

I really don’t want to dump on cooks especially small local family restaurants. But I have to say something in hopes of saving somebody from dining at this establishment. We went there for my husband‘s birthday because the reviews said how great and delicious it was well. I’m here to tell you that is not the truth. I’ve never been served a puck miniature piece of chicken breast on a hot cast-iron skillet so it’s still cooking as you get served, and to make it even better, it tastes like Fourth of July just exploded in my mouth. I have never eaten something that tasted just like gunpowder. They should’ve been honest and said that they seasoned the chicken with a whistling Pete! Next to the chicken on the same hot skillet set a hot pile of coleslaw I’m not sure if it’s because the coleslaw was hot, but it tastes Like opening a bottle of cheap cider vinegar, warming it up and taking a swig as a matter fact! Next, the vegetable That was The side dish was a few frozen green beans. They had attempted to warm up absolutely sickening at this point. But it gets better they advertise mashed potatoes or red potatoes. My husband asked for red and the guy said you mean mashed, Clearly, they don’t have the red potatoes they advertised. They don’t have those because they don’t come in a box like the mashed potatoes did. 100% mashed potatoes I think that the TV dinner mashed potatoes taste better I never thought I would say that.
All I know is when you charge somebody for an upscale sort of dinner you should at least try to make it edible at the very least. I am offended actually. We couldn’t say anything to our waiter about the food because we didn’t have one. I was frustrated by lack of customer service skills to say the very least. However I understand now, I’d hide too if I served people that hot mess of a meal.
They knew it was his birthday, they didn’t even attempt to make his food edible.
My mother in law went to pay (she of course had to go to them), she was told they discounted a bit of a meal. She said we are paying the tip with cash and we did. However they took it upon themselves to add an additional charge and if that’s not bad they were still making changes and taking money out of her account. Not authorized so that’s theft!
This place is really bad all the way around, not one thing I can say that was positive about this experience. I unfortunately only took one picture and it does no justice but you get the idea of what not to order or even go there at all.

My original visit was on 6-5-2024. Poor service over salted foods. The manager wanted to hear my concerns so I enlightened her. She took a 78.00 tab to 44.00. I told her twice the tip was cash left on the table. Next day I checked my bank statement the 44.00 was deducted along with an additional 9.00. I still don’t know why. Today I check my account and the 9.00 was credited back to me but a charge of 53.00 was charged!!! 3-4 days later I noticed this has been done!!!! Stay out of my bank account!!! I will get the Police involved if it happens again.

So my wife and I were in JC Tuesday looking for a restaurant and she came across this place and looking at the reviews thought it would be a good choice. So yesterday was my birthday and we decided to check it out.
Let me try and walk you through this experience. We walk through the door and there was someone behind the bar all the way to the back and someone seated at a bar stool. The both look at us and there is a long pause, the guy on the stool said sit anywhere you like, so we did.
After a bit a waiter comes over and I’m thinking they are going to ask if we would like to start with drinks? I first asked if they have Splenda? I asked because if they do I will get an ice tea. I asked and he said “I’ll get it now” and just runs off and we are sitting there thinking… does this person think I want it for my water? He comes back and we ask him if they have ice tea? He’s “pretty sure.” So we order 3 drinks. We get our ice teas two and one Coors light. Nothing to stir the Splenda no straw no spoon nothing. I’m trying to be positive so we use the lemon slice to mix it.
We finally get our order taken and we have questions like do you have Thousand Island? His response was “I don’t believe so.” Anyway I get som balsamic vinaigrette which was fine. Now there was a table of I would say 9 people and they were there before us and then during the course of our visit four more came in so it wasn’t incredibly busy and we couldn’t help but notice how long people including us were waiting. I was thinking I hope they don’t bring our salads with our meal. Finally our salads came out and wouldn’t you know it soon after here comes the food. Now there were so many communication issues that I couldn’t list them all and most of the issue is that the people that work there don’t seem to listen. I asked for red potatoes and the waiter said mashed? I said sure just because I wanted this over with.
The food comes and keep in mind the reason we went there is because the reviews were good. I’m not sure what is considered good? My steak was dry the green beans tasted like they came frozen and sat in the freezer for a few months. The potatoes were instant potatoes! Look if you are going to serve instant potatoes at a restaurant at least spring for a decent flavor.. no these tasted exactly like something from a tv dinner! The green beans were very salty. It gets way worse. My wife ordered the chicken. It came out so dry it looked like a hockey puck and tasted like a firework. Yes the way a firework smells is EXACTLY how the chicken tasted it was like sucking on a Roman Candle.
My mom went to pay and apparently she did finally say something. She told them that she would pay and we would leave a cash tip which we left $20 on a $44 tab. Which honestly this was not a tip worthy experience but I always say.. I will always tip no matter what, I just won’t go back! Anyway my mom checks her bank statement and this place has the nerve to charge her the $44.00 and then charge and additional $9. Ok when is it theft? Did she agree to that? No she did not.
I was going to just let this whole thing go until I heard about that. Now not only was the experience awful now you have sticky fingers.., How dare you think that somehow we owe you.
Anyway I hope in the future you get it together take some pride in what you do… not one time during the whole meal, not once were we asked if we needed anything. We were not rude one time and this is how you behave?
Fix it!

My Son wanted to go to this restaurant because he had seen great reviews for their steak. He didn’t even finish it and said the mashed potatoes tasted like instant boxed.
I had the deep fried fish that was extremely salty and my daughter in- law had the Chicken dinner again very salty with the mashed potatoes. She basically didn’t eat the food at all.
The service was terrible because apparently there usual server wasn’t there. I had to give instructions to the server for tea and silverware. He never came to check on us during the entire meal.
I asked for the check so we could just leave and when the manager lady asked me how the food was I hesitated. She insisted that I tell her about our experience. So I did. She apologized and discounted our meals from 78.00 to 44.00 $. I did not ask for the discount and told her twice I didn’t want to take from her. I authorized the 44.00 $ and told her my Son was going to cover the tip. Which was 20.00 $. This morning when I checked my Bank account not only had the 44.00 been deducted but another charge of 9.00 was subtracted too. We will never go back!!!
