If you want good Hawaiian BBQ, there is no better place than Kona Cafe. Junction City or Springfield, you will not be disappointed. Try the Big Kahuna, it's a bit of everything.

Got 1 adult and 1 kids rib plate. Basically for double the $ you get one extra rib. It gets 2 stars because the ribs are still good.

The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. The servings far exceed your expectancy and the food is to die for.

This place has really good food but good luck getting it. They seem like they're never open and if you do manage to like get to talks to someone usually the day try to put you on hold and then the line cuts out a couple minutes in I've only ever had it twice and I've tried upwards to 10 times to get it.

Awful. Meat was chewy, under seasoned, they forgot the mac salad, rice was overcooked. Bare minimum effort and it’s offensive to call this Hawaiian food.

We were looking forward to trying out Kona Cafe (Junction City location). At first, nobody answered the phone. We called again. After a long time, someone finally answered and took our order. We were told that it would be about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I tried to go inside to pick up our order, but the door was locked. I walked around to the front of the building. No front entrance. Went back to try the entrance in back. Still locked. We gave up after waiting for anyone to open the door.Disappointing. I came to read Google reviews about them, and found another report that they don't (won't?) answer the phone.I don't guess we will bother trying again.

Okay but not the best .Chulas on East Broadway is much better.

Yummy, authentic Hawaiian cuisine. Florvorful teriyaki chicken and beef brisket. Generous portions of sides and meats.

I can't say enough about the Kona Café, other than that it's THEE BEST Hawaiian food in the area. Not only are the prices ridiculously affordable, the quality and flavor of the food is outstanding. I find it hard not order the same thing over and over again each time I visit. Even with a tip, the cost of a lunch is by far cheaper than anything else in town at the level of quality they put forward. Portion sizes are huge. I highly recommend the Kona Café in Junction City!

Absolutely fantastic hawaiian bbq, you get big portions for an amazing price and the food is delicious. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants.

Kona Cafe has awesome chicken, ribs, and mac salad at a very reasonable price. The staff are always very friendly and get your order out in a real hurry. I live 5 minutes away and my call-in orders are always ready by the time I arrive. I strongly recommend Kona if you're looking for a plate lunch in the tri-county area.

Last time it was good. This time, i went in 40 minutes before closing. The guy at the counter said they were out of chicken so i went with the pork. He was acting like I was a hastle and was very unfriendly. I ordered two sides of the mac. He didnt warn me there'd be no rice if i didnt order it. So my riceless pork was cold like it had been off the heat for a while, much of it was a ball of fat and the mac tater salad was warm like it had been sitting out of the fridge for some time. Very unhappy with the lack of customer service. In my days of working food service we would not be allowed to just run out of something and if we did we were to be apologetic and aim to please the customer anyhow. This guy acted like I was a problem for being unhappy about it. We would not have been allowed to be blah when talking with customers. We would've been expected to be friendly and professional. I called 12 minutes before closing to tell of my experience and got no answer. In my day we would not be allowed to let the ohone ring during business hours, even 10 minutes prior. what has happened to the food industry? This isnt the only place by far missing the point these days.

Smelled funky walking in, like some of the meat was going bad. Ordered anyway, because I was on the road and very hungry. The kahlua pork smelled just like that bad smell though, and I ended up throwing it out. The pineapple fried rice and potato/mac was ok.

Staff is super nice, love the food when its fresh but most of the time the tri tip is super dry as well as the ribs.
