7-31-2025 Visited after leaving Eugene Airport, had a delicious chicken fried steak, with pop's potatoes, biscuit and coffee. Our first time was very impressed. The waitress Kendra (thinking that was her name) was very kind!!!
Great breakfast.

Went to the Stockman in mid May 2025 for the first time in years because we'd heard they were under new management. We were specifically looking forward to breakfast, since that was supposed to be their specialty.
Walked in 45 minutes before closing and were informed because it was so late there was no breakfast (nothing on the menu about breakfast ending at a specific time) and if we didn't finish our food by 2pm we'd be given boxes and shown the door. Not sure why we stayed, but we did. Another couple arrived at 1:30 and were asked to leave!
As for the food, the Rueben was super soggy - couldn't pick it up because the bread was so wet - and barely had any fillings, I'd say 3mm of pastrami at best. My husband's hamburger was barely adequate, nothing special at all.
My recommendation is not to waste your time or money. There are so many better places in the area for breakfast or a burger.

Local homestyle breakfast and lunch!
This is a great place to get a good quantity of food and coffee for under $20. The coffee is only $1.50 where all other restaurants are close to $4. The ham and eggs special is a good 1/2 slice of ham ( not the kind cut from a oval log). And the cinnamon rolls and biscuits are baked in house. Yummmmmmy! The owner/cooks and waitresses are just awesome. Sat's though are truly busy (livestock auction). So don't be in a hurry and maybe expect a 10 + min wait for a table. However, they are still very quick at getting food out. Only thing- previous owner did banana bread french toast. Miss it! But all else so awesome.

Our server was very accommodating and welcoming. We had the loaded potato soup/ house salad. Also, the rueben burger with fries. All the food was DELICIOUS. This was our first time here. We'll be back!

How can this place have anything below 5 stars? We went up to auction this am and were starving. I didn't have high hopes. But WHAT?! the breakfast we had this AM was the best breakfast I've had in a while. Portions were not small, and we left full. Whatever they put in those pops potatoes OMG. I swear I'm going to drive up there just for those😂 if they keep feeding people this good,no wonder people auction off their animals🤣🤣
No really though,i was impressed and will absolutely be going again. The cook today on January 11th 2025. Thank you.
