Watering Hole Of America - W.H.O.A. Tavern is a great local town tavern in Keno, Oregon. We took an afternoon drive from Ashland to Klamath Falls, Oregon. We made many stops along the way. As we entered the town of Keno, we drove past the Whoa Tavern.

We rarely stop at a bar or tavern without checking them out first, but as we drove past the Whoa Tavern, it just sort of called out to us. So, a quick U-Turn and minutes later, we were walking through the front door. We were quickly greeted by the owner and several folks sitting at the bar.

We took a little tour of the bar, dining room, back patio, and large back yard suitable for larger events.

The Whoa tavern is a historic building, back in the day starting as an automobile service station where they worked on cars in the basement (one picture shows steps going to the basement from the outside).

The local town folks at the tavern were welcoming and friendly; after spending an hour chatting, we thought we had known them for years.

The service was professional, friendly, and top-notch. The food and drinks were amazing. They have specials, a great menu, and excellent service! The serving size is generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

Note: I included a few pictures of the floor; you might wonder why? Turns out this is cattle country, and locals have brought their branding irons, and for your review and interest, you can see several iconic brands burned onto the wooden floor.

Do yourself a favor and give the iconic Watering Hole Of America - W.H.O.A. Tavern in Keno , try; you will not be disappointed!

Great place to meet friends, gamble, play horseshoes or just relax. Saturday night live music on the outdoor stage under the stars! What more could you ask for! Awesome place!!

My husband and I stopped in and we had a burger and fries. Great lunch, great atmosphere, friendly people.

This little bar has a great atmosphere and excellent food and service. I had Pudding Shots for the first time, and they were so delicious. The bartender was so nice, and she had me laughing. One of the customers won some money and bought everyone in the place. We also ate some of the best Phillie Steak sandwiches served with tater tots, and I'd go back to have more any day of the week.

The atmosphere creates a truly welcoming and enjoyable experience. The staff's dedication to providing excellent service is evident. However, the food truck elevates the entire experience to something extraordinary. A particular highlight is Becky's cheeseburger, an absolute must-try. It's a culinary delight that perfectly complements the wonderful atmosphere and service.

Love this place and & stop in anytime I’m passing thru Keno. Always friendly and great service. Love the cheese burgers. Onions rings are great too. Reasonable portions & prices.This trip Mom & I sat at the card table, played cards & ate lunch by the warm cozy wood stove.

Great food from the Whoa Wagon outside, good atmosphere, friendly staff.Philly cheese steak and bacon cheeseburger hit it outta the park.Very glad to have stopped here. Will definitely do so again if I’m in the area.
