I was SOOOO DISAPPOINTED! I've been going almost every Saturday and sometimes Friday to dance to American Legion. I recommended it to so many people and brought a lot of friends with me. Until Saturday, July 5, 2025. I was dancing and one employee came over to me asking for my ID. My daughter brought me there in her car, so I didn't even think of having my purse. I was going to tip the band, so I had only some cash with me. I don't drink, so I wasn't going to buy any drinks. That's why I didn't bring ID with me. And I am 57, definitely more than 21. That woman forced us to leave! The people around told her who I was. There were hardly any people! It means, they were very slow which is bad for any business, and she made it worse, as my daughter was there to buy some food for us. I Googled to find out if it's true that according to the Oregon Law, just to be there I must have an ID. IT'S NOT TRUE!!! We left. She ruined our WHOLE night! And I don't want to go back any more!!! It was very discriminatory, as she asked ID only from me and my daughter! In other words, DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING THEY SAY! BAD BUSINESS!
UPDATE: From Monday, 07/07/2025 Wow... Now I am SOOO IMPRESSED with the actions of the American Legion not only ours, but National.... Our local authorities messaged me apologizing for the action of the employee that was rude and inappropriate on Saturday, and Commander in Chief from Maryland called me personally apologizing and promising to resolve the problem. Wow... I am very grateful for that! The best news - THEY CARE!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Went in for the first time last week. I got there at 125pm and lunch was over at 130pm. They took my order and I had one of the best tri tip sandwiches I’ve ever had. Everyone was friendly and great atmosphere. I’m a member at a post in CA and here in Klamath falls for work. I will definitely be making this post my stop when I am in town.

Great lunches for a good price on Tuesday and Thursdays. I used to dance there alot, looking forward to it again.
Live music, dancing and socializing. Sadly the only food now is just hotdogs ? ?Was okay. Miss the days of menu offerings burgers, nachos and etc.
