The food is decent, the waffle is really tasty, but my hash browns were burnt and they just kinda mixed them up so it wasn't clear till you ate them. If you are a POC, you'll probably feel uncomfortable. It's not that they are rude, or that the service was lacking in anyway, because the service was very good, but there is a distinct unwelcoming vibe to the place if you are not white and it is jarring. If I was there on my own as opposed to being with my friends...
I wanted to go to a restaurant that had nice comfortable booths because I was having lunch with my friend that was recovering from surgery. I Called beforehand and asked about it. They did confirm they had booths but I guess I should have asked more questions. I was very disappointed because when we got there we discovered they were just hard wooden benches. ?We hurried through lunch because even with the cushions they provided it was still uncomfortable.
