I am giving 5 stars. I contacted El Rodeo via FB Messenger this past Saturday to inquire about their breakfast hours to which they provided. I did not indicate what day I would be coming in. The next morning, I received a FB message from them letting me know that due to unforeseen circumstances; they would not be opening at 8am; the previously indicated time. I was very impressed and appreciative that they would take the time to follow up and let me know this. They let me know that they didn't want me to show up to a locked door. Exquisite customer service. That alone would make me recommend them. Thank you El Rodeo staff!

Very uninteresting place. Food was just OK. Service very slow. Building inside is dirty and dank. Not a restaurant that serves alcohol but A BAR THAT SERVES FOOD. OK but I will never return.

Long wait, dirty tables, chairs, and menus, we had to clean the table ourselves.
Enchiladas were cold, and the rib eye was not cooked how we asked, we had to send it back.
Poor customer service as they throw everything on the table.
Dirty silverware and plates.
First and last time visiting this place.
Disgusting!

Had dinner last Saturday, my sister and I ordered the steak and lobster special. My rib steak was good and cooked to the medium rare I ordered but the lobster was grey and had an off taste. My sister's was even worse. Same grey lobster, she wouldn't eat it. She ordered the rib steak medium rare but hers was medium well done. She also ordered a loaded baked potato but it arrived so cold the butter wouldn't melt. They brought her a new hot potato but she sent the rest of the dinner back. My wife had salmon and it was good. They did comp my sisters meal and took 10% off mine, but I doubt we will be back anytime soon. El Rodeo used to be our favorite but has declined a lot in the last year or so. Apparently we aren't the only ones who think so, as Saturday nights used to be packed, There were only 2 other tables at 6:30 last Saturday.
I don’t really understand who can be paid to serve burnt steak. The worse burger ever!!!
Maybe they should remove them from the menu and just focus about what they master (if one).
The corn flake on the fired ice cream was soggy full of oil. I ate a bowl of fries less oily than half of this fried ice cream

Shrimp quesadilla was good. Nachos were not too thrilling - blah is what the man had to say- though it was a lot of food and good service and large lemonade and ice tea. Fun watching horse and bull riding.
Highly disappointed. Heard good things and we thought wr would give it a try, considering the pretty high prices. Ordered a 12oz sirloin and a 10oz tbone with lobster. First off, they packed the to go order on paper plates wrapped on tin foil. By the time we got home, the plates were soggy and leaking, the rolls inside were soggy, and both steaks were extremely over cooked. Both requested Med-Rare, and we ended up with grey well done woth a smidge hint of pink in spots, had zero flavor and the lobster was straight rubber. Honestly can say we probably wont be back because it was definitely not worth a $100 ticket.

Unfortunately, this place has gone a bit downhill. Change of ownership taking its toll... Three years ago this was our favorite. Great food excellent meats traditional ambiance. Now just another decent Mexican food place. Not bad, but the charm is gone. Service was friendly and fast, But it Just ain't the same anymore. Parrillada came Luke warm. The molcajete was pretty good, nice and spicy and hot. Chile Colorado also a little disappointing. Lame redneck music... Lost it's latino class, a shame.

Delicious! I had the California Burrito and it was amazing. It could probably feed a family of 4. I made a good dent in it, but was already pretty full from the chips and guac. Very delicious, would recommend!

Had a great dinner, fajitas where tender and not sweet. The Cadillac margarita was so tasty and the margarita flight was perfect. Loved the atmosphere and the waitress was super nice and attentive !

?We had chili relleno, enchilada, taco combo. The relleno's had just came off the fire and were perfectly done. The best we have had in YEARS! The salsa was delicious. We had a Cadillac Margarita and raspberry margarita. Both were very good. They do have a full bar. Everything tasted fresh and not over seasoned. Our server was great. Attentive without being bothersome. It's simple, nicely decorated very comfortable. Booths are nice size and table seating as well. This would be a great place for bigger groups and luncheons. They are open for lunch and dinner. The menu is very nice, including steaks. Very enjoyable experience!

We came here around graduation time last year and had some of the best steaks ever and amazing service. We had family from out of town who agreed. Fast forward to last night my husband and I wanted to go out for a dinner date and had the complete opposite experience. The service was far from great. My husband ordered the New York and I ordered the ribeye we always order steak medium rare. When our steaks came my husband’s steak was still completely raw like cold raw what you would call blue. He asked if they could cook it more and when they brought it back after cooking it longer it was still raw so it had to be pretty dang raw to have been cooked twice yet still be cold in the center. My ribeye was on the line of rare and raw. We just brought it home for the dogs. $100 steak dinner was definitely not worth it sadly.
There were 5 of us in the party. The two steaks were cooked to well done. (Disappointing) Chips and salsa was ok. Interesting decor.
