I never miss an opportunity to stop at the Franz Bakery Outlet in Bend. Go early as everyone else likes to shop there also. 😅
Although its day old items I've never been disappointed in the freshness. When I get home everything goes in the freezer.
They have, of course, mostly breads, muffins, bagels, etc but also nice selections of sweets, like danish, bear claws, cookies, etc.
Wonderful homemade jellies and jams along with soups and sauce mixes too.
I especially like the stamped cards. For every $10 spent you get a stamp and when it's full with 5 stamps you get to choose any 5 items off the back wall.
A lot of the outlet store's dont have grab and go but Bend does. Lots of the locals pop in for breakfast, lunch or snacks.
With prices on the rise, outlet store's are still one of the budget friendly options.
Bend store must be a great place to work because the same 3 people have been there forever.

a childhood favorite raspberry filled doughnuts now have 50% less filling. so disappointed in this. I know times are hard, but I would pay more to have them like they were.

I like this store and unfortunately the punch tickets are being discontinued due to a theft and fraud issue. If they come up with a new method for that issue it will be a good thing. There are deals to be had and I appreciate those savings.

This is a little gem. I found it today, and the bread, flour, and so many things we like here at a steal of the cost in regular stores. Franz Bakery Outlet is so worth stopping by. They are so friendly and helpful. We have you on our list of stores to shop at regular. Thank you

For the second time I have a loaf of Gluten Free Hawaiian bread go moldy just a couple days after opening. It’s too expensive to have that happen. Very disappointed.

We have had multiple loaves of moldy Franz GF bread upon opening the package, well within best by date. I have reached out to the company and Wal-Mart multiple times to no avail. Such tasty bread when it isn't moldy - PLEASE fix as we are going to switch brands:(
