Five of us from out of town stopped to have some Italian food before we rode the Ride the Rim Crater Lake bike ride. While the food looked good, we never got to taste the main course because the server (the female manager) failed to place the main order. After we were seated at our table, we sat for nearly ten minutes before the waitress realized she had a table. It appeared she was really busy and overwhelmed and we probably should not have been sat in her area. We should have taken this as a hint that we should have asked for a different server or left.
When she did come to the table, she took our drink and appetizer order and while she was friendly, she took another ten minutes before she brought the drinks and took our order. After downing the breadsticks and appetizer we sat for another 25 minutes before she came back to the table and told us she had forgotten to place the order with the kitchen after she had originally taken our order. Not thinking it would be another 30 minutes of us sitting there, we just said ok.
Another 10 minutes passed and she came to the table and said that our food would be there shortly. By this time the table behind us, with a different server, who sat down after us, had their drinks, appetizers and main course during the course of all this happening. Finally, after an hour and twenty minutes of sitting there still waiting for our food to come out, I got up and asked for my check and told the other waitress at the front to get our waitress and cancel the food.
By this time it was 8:20 PM. We arrived at 6:40 and were seated at 7:00 PM. Nearly an hour and an half went by and we were still waiting for our dinner. When she came out, she could tell I was not happy, yet not once did she apologize. I asked who the manager was and she raised her hand. I was in complete disbelief that the manager who happened to be our waitress would handle the situation the way she did. She acted like I was the one in the wrong and that I should apologize. The other waitress was in shock that we had not gotten our food. She was serving the table that was behind us and they had finished their meal and were ordering dessert by the time I got up and complained.
Beyond the fact that the manager/waitress did not apologize, she still charged me for the soft drinks and one appetizer that we had gotten. I actually had to ask her for a discount on those things based on the poor, and unreasonable lack of service she provided. I ended up with 25.00 bill and left at 8:30 PM with my family not fed. A good manager would've never handled the situation that way. A good manager would have profusely apologized and asked what she could do to make it right. Unsure if the food was good, I would not ever go back to this establishment. If you choose to do so, make sure you do not get the manager as your waitress.

We had a fantastic dinner tonight. We started with calamari ~ it stopped us both in our tracks. Never so good as this. Our waitress witnessed our amazement & sweetly said “ we make everything from scratch”. On to the garlic bread -so fragrant, light crust ~ pulls apart for dipping. My chicken parm was as-it-should-be: you can taste the spices in the breading toasted to that perfect “crunch” under the sauce to the tender chicken. The sauce was fresh & had this rich undertone that I could not place .. perfect al dente penne. My salad greens were fresh, dry & room temperature- all dark & spicy greens. Fresh red onion & kalamata olives were a delight along with balsamic vinaigrette. A beautiful Italian red wine complimented the meal. Our service was wonderful from the young man who sat us immediately, to our whip-smart & engaging waitress Cali to charming Jax who took care of us. Wish we had an Italian restaurant like this in our town!

Had a wonderful daddy/daughter date night.
Our server made sure everything went great. My daughter had the lasagna, with zupa soup. I had the ribeye with baked potato, and Brussels sprouts. Everything was so delicious. We finished with some Gelato. So good!

The pasta was ok but the steak came out completely raw. Asked for it to be cooked a little longer (had asked for medium rate) and it came back out still completely raw. The staff was understanding and provided great service, but I can’t recommend getting the steak.

Honestly 9 times out of 10 I am impressed! Food is sooo good. Hubby got one dish that wasn’t bomb but for the most part they’re spot on. One time the soup tasted different than the usual but whatever. I’m a supporter

Great Gatsby! Full portions and expect left overs. The gelato was also a nice treat!
The food was to die for; not too cheesy or dry. The appetizers were really good and just the right quantity, we could not stop eating them. The main course was delicious and exactly the right amount for after the appetizers. Our waiter Nicole was very friendly and engaging ; she recommended all the right dishes and was really funny. Lastly, the dessert was amazing and there were so many options to choose from; it was like walking into an ice cream shop!
