Black Bear Diner Reviews
Well first off there was a mouse that ran right past my foot when I waiting for our mobile order in the sitting area. Then after getting back to our hotel we find out that there was no sour cream for the loaded bake potato that came with my wife’s chicken fried steak which she didn’t eat because she was disgusted that a mouse was seen running through the restaurant. Yummy food. Great service.
A couple of people came in after us and somehow got their food 15 minutes before us. The Black Bear Diner offers generally good food in a clean environment, though the service can be inconsistent. Many customers enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and find the food satisfying, especially the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. The diner is known for its quality, wholesome food and generous portions, making it a popular choice for travelers and locals alike. Recent visitors have noted that the restaurant is a step above places like Denny's, providing a pleasant and clean place to eat. The service and food are both praised, with some mentioning that early opening hours help avoid long waits. One important tip from a customer is to request no salted butter with waffles, as it can be too salty, especially for those with health concerns. Overall, the diner remains a reliable spot for comfort food and breakfast, with some room for improvement in service consistency.
