I'm giving an A for Effort, but this "New cook" does not know how to make breakfast food. Be warned. The service is great. I'm not sure what time they work, but it's dinner time for reference.

Black Bear never disappoints. Quality wholesome food, generous portions for almost 30 years ♥️
They may be busy at times due to being very popular. Who can complain about that.
Thanks you Black Bear ❗

I have been to several BBD’s and this was pretty disappointing. It will be a memorable experience, but not for any good reason. It was very slow on a Monday evening and it took probably 10 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. Some silverware had to brought out after the food was. The grilled cheese- the cheese wasn’t melted at all. The blackberry stuffed French toast was as if the bread had sat out for a while. The service, below average. Maybe it was a “one-off” but I wouldn’t come back to find out.

Better then our last few trips to a Blackbear, but still disappointed at the removal of Linguica off the menu.

I visited Black Bear in Redding the night before. Decided to check them out for breakfast the next morning in Klamath Falls. Awesome biscuits and gravy. OMG.

The number they called me on is not the same as what is listed, no voicemail was left to inform me they couldn't finish my order. Didn't have time to order anything else since we're on a long roadtrip with little ones, so I got what I could out of it, and still had to go in 3 times because they didn't have all our stuff together.

Fri Nov 1, 8:20 PM Cook can't make eggs! Broken over hard served for an over easy order. Should not be behind the flattop.

Good atmosphere here, very attentive servers and only had a short wait to get the food. They have a good menu like all black bear diners. That's why I'm a repeat customer always consistent with the meals and service. Plenty of parking available, the place is always clean.
