Tasty food and very generous portions. Server was attentive but not pushy. Overall clean dining area and restrooms

Went to stop for lunch after a long drive. The service was a bit behind because lots of people were there so we had to wait to be seated. The waitress was a little irritated but otherwise the food was absolutely delicious and I would definitely have the Cinnamon Roll French Toast again.

So… we arrived at the restaurant after a long tiring drive( it was 8:10 pm when we arrived). Although there were multiple empty tables we were asked to wait 15 minutes “because there was only one server.” We sat at our table at around 8:30.
After looking at the menu we realized there were only two main courses without meat.
They came to take our order at 8:35 and told us neither of the plates we wanted were available.
We ordered something else as we were very hungry and it was late.
30 minutes later the server came with a full plastic bag and told us that it was time to close and that we had to leave. So, “that’s why they prepared our food to go.”
When we complained about them letting us sit even though they were closing they told us: “that’s what our boss tells us to do.”
We left and ate mediocre and cold food at our hotel.
P.S. they only gave us one set of silverware.
Overall, nothing was done right, avoid at all costs.

I'm giving an A for Effort, but this "New cook" does not know how to make breakfast food. Be warned. The service is great. I'm not sure what time they work, but it's dinner time for reference.

Black Bear never disappoints. Quality wholesome food, generous portions for almost 30 years ♥️
They may be busy at times due to being very popular. Who can complain about that.
Thanks you Black Bear ❗

I have been to several BBD’s and this was pretty disappointing. It will be a memorable experience, but not for any good reason. It was very slow on a Monday evening and it took probably 10 minutes to be asked what we wanted to drink. Some silverware had to brought out after the food was. The grilled cheese- the cheese wasn’t melted at all. The blackberry stuffed French toast was as if the bread had sat out for a while. The service, below average. Maybe it was a “one-off” but I wouldn’t come back to find out.

Better then our last few trips to a Blackbear, but still disappointed at the removal of Linguica off the menu.

I visited Black Bear in Redding the night before. Decided to check them out for breakfast the next morning in Klamath Falls. Awesome biscuits and gravy. OMG.

The number they called me on is not the same as what is listed, no voicemail was left to inform me they couldn't finish my order. Didn't have time to order anything else since we're on a long roadtrip with little ones, so I got what I could out of it, and still had to go in 3 times because they didn't have all our stuff together.
