Lake of the Woods Pizzaria

Pretty disappointed in the lack of attention to detail and food quality. My family went here for their valentines dinner. It was just my husband, myself, and our young daughter. We were placed in the back of the restaurant and had to wait for quite awhile to even get greeted(about 20 min). Mind you we had made a reservation a month prior. The “fancy” dinner consisted of cheap Brut champagne, a very chewy and fatty small steak, and veggies that were not cooked. It took over an hour just to get our food after ordering. Overall the food wasn’t seasoned and the lack of attention to service was disheartening. They also had such a confusing information system. When their website is completely outdated, and what they post on Facebook is not the same as when we arrived. I think a greater attention to their management would be beneficial.

I was coming for a car show and wanted a snack but they had an hour and a half wait for one pizza not sure if it was worth the wait

Talk about a killer location for a little pizza spot! Amazing views of the lake and surrounding mountains. They have a nice seating area outside as well as inside if the weather isn't great. Pizza was very tasty, but if you're expecting NY style or something you'll not be too impressed. It's solid football pizza, for those Barstool fans out there. For pizza on a lake resort out in the middle of S. Oregon it's pretty good. Only have a picture of the medium cheese, but we also got a Hawaiian style and a pepperoni. They offer gluten-free crust, but were out that day we were there. Great location with friendly staff makes for a pretty sweet spot for a slice of pizza. Definitely recommend if you're there or in the area, it's worth the time and especially on a clear sunny day like we had.

The campground staff is enough reason not to go here! Throwing and BREAKING campers personal items instead of dealing with minor issues like adult's(disabled person dropping off a chair before parking in a boating area granted).... whomever is in charge of campground, needs some anger management classes and possibly a lawyer if they keep it up. the actual harassment and actions I witnessed today would be unbelievable if not caught on video. The campground "manager" Joe? Calm down and quit abusing campers. maybe talk to superiors before being a horrible human being with a power trip mentality ??

My son and I stopped here after driving many hours on our way to Crater Lake and were starving. We arrived at 6:30pm and one worker said they were done taking pizza orders for the night ☹️

I kindly asked another man who was making pizzas if he could recommend anywhere we could eat nearby that didn’t involve driving back to Klamath (45min). He graciously (and quietly) told me he had a pizza in the oven that was going to be sold for slices but I could buy it. I was so thankful for the pizza and appreciated his kindness. The pizza was great!

I’ve been a patron of the Lodge at Lake of the Woods for 25 years. Every summer my family and I look forward to our reunion. This year and today in particular the staff’s customer service has been the worst I have ever experienced. The manager on duty this morning immediately was hostel with me when I asked about parking my boat trailer so I could run back to town to pick up my camper. She was beyond unfriendly and waited until I had paid for parking to tell me it wasn’t allowed. Fast forward to this evening and I’m in the process of filling up an inter tube with air and an employee makes eye contact with me and shuts the air compressor off as my tube is half full. I ask him if he could turn it back on as it will only take a second to finish up, without hesitation he says dude we close in like 5 minutes and I already locked the shed. Management needs to reign in the staff as they are quickly destroying the gem that is Lake of the Woods.

VETERANS! AVOID LAKE OF THE WOODS! Lake of the Woods occupies Federal National Forest Land but imposes a fee on "America the Beautiful" interagency pass holders for basic amenities, unlike every other Federal Recreation site. They collect money and PROFIT from the families of dead servicemen and women, Veteran's and Active Duty Military who's sacrifice allow us to enjoy these lands.

I was not expecting a pizza place inside a boat marina shop 45 minutes before closing during the off season with no other open restaurants around to have good pizza. Boy, were we wrong! The pizza was good, the staff were very friendly, and the inside was nice. Good variety of flavors and toppings and the dough is freshly stretched.

Surprising.
Delicious pizza, in the middle of nowhere. Has the most amazing view if you eat outside.

Parking: When you drive in, you can request a parking pass if you're just planning to eat. Otherwise, it's $5 to park. Although that is just to enter the resort and fishing area.
Food is not crazy overpriced even though it is in the middle of nowhere. I was pleasantly surprised they didn't charge more.

Very good. Get the white sauce lake of the woods special! Crust was great, toppings were good, cheese was good. One of the better pizzas I've had in a long time!

Since there aren’t many food options in the area, we called to confirm their hours. No one answered the phone, so we had to go blindly trusting their website and Google was correct and they closed at 9:00. We showed up at 7:57 and they said they close at 8:00.

my goodness.. always a wonderful pie. sauce is incredible and the meats are top quality. I foubd thid gem coming back to keno. I'm hooked for life. order early or youll end with an hour wait.
