Beautiful resort with lots of amenities.
I've been coming here for 35 years now. It just gets more crowded more expensive, and the people who are running it are extremely rude. I wish Forest service still ran all the campgrounds around here. Lake of the woods resort runs fourmile lake campground too and they've ruined it also! I really don't like private concessionaires on public land.
our first day visit. beautiful lake many picnic tables. lots of shade from old growth tree's. only problem was parking. on sat in the summer best to arrive by 1pm or u can wait in line for someone to leave .
Nice place to got swimming. Pay to park $10.
Lake of the Woods is a great place to get away from it all! This is our second multiple night stay in the cabins and we have enjoyed it each time. We can't wait for the next!
Went for the day trip. Perfect amount of well spaced picnic benches and little private water spots. Even though we were only about 100 yd from the nearest group, it was very private and quiet.

Love lake of the woods in the summer and winter. Staff is so welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is good. Beautiful views!
Just got off the phone with Hope. Very unprofessional about being all booked. Lied and said it was raining, then hung up on me.
