Very delicious food. I got both philly mac and philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Highly recommend this little food truck. They have tables. Great atmosphere.

It was ok. I like mac and cheese, but what I ordered wasn't what I expected. Very heavy on some of the spices that it covered the flavors of the cheese.

best philly cheesesteak in town by a mile.

ive had 3 or 4 other cheesesteaks (2 of which are no longer open for business) and nothing comes remotely close to mac and cheesesteaks.

solid portion of meat without skimping on the cheese, great quality roll that was sturdy and not soggy at all.

garlic fries are to DIE for (although, if youre not a garlic person, im sure you can order it without)

mac and cheese was surprising to say the least (in the BEST way). pasta cooked perfectly, cheese was remarkably flavorful and sharp, i could eat 4 bowls if no one stopped me.

now, every restaurant has its flaws, and unfortunately this one wasnt the exception to the rule.

we ordered a creme brulee dirt and worms, and it wasnt great to be perfectly honest.

the strong flavor of the oreo didnt complement the flavor of the custard or the caramelized sugar, which was a shame considering the flavor and how well the custard was made. you get a sort of background noise of custard, almost as if its calling out, "im here!!" but unfortunately gets overpowered by the oreo.

the custard was remarkably smooth and had a well rounded flavor (when i could separate it from the oreo, which was kinda difficult), normally a common mistake chefs make when serving a creme brulee is a custard that splits, but this one didnt at all, which was nice.

the gummy worm was probably the nail in the coffin, at least for me. it was too long and didnt really cut very easy with a plastic spoon. its flavor seemed very cheap and almost medicine-like.

all in all, still an amazing experience for what it did well. having said all that, if youre gonna make a creme brulee, dont overthink it. take the oreo and the gummy worm out, and itd be perfect.

we'll DEFINITELY be back for more very soon :)

9.5/10

Let me say it here real quick!! I got Mac and Cheese Steaks at the Klamath County Fair this year and it was the most incredible food that I ate during fair! Not only did it look incredible, it tasted incredible and I am planning my next order! Seriously the best Mac and Cheese EVER! To the owner, you’re a literally life saver. I probably would have starved that day! 🤣💖🤩🤩 FIVE STARS. I cannot wait for my next meal!

Just Meh. Traveling through, decided to get off the freeway and find something unique to eat. Our first choice was closed for maintenance, so we were pleased to find this place on our way back to the freeway. We ordered a Philly cheese steak and the drunken jerk chicken mac. The cheese steak was just meh. Underseasoned, the meat a bit dry. Lots of onion & peppers. Bit stingy on the cheese sauce, but hubby didn't really care for it, so probably a good thing. Portion size was ok, didn't come with sides. Price was around $15 (didn't pay tgat much attention to it.) The Mac and cheese wasn't what I expected. It wasn't topped with jerk chicken, it had a small amount of finely chopped chicken in it, with no decernable jerk flavor. If I put it all together, it maybe contained a tablespoon of minced chicken. Might as well have been canned chicken . The cheese around the pasta was almost gritty. Can't decide if it needed more time to come together or if the sauce broke. Overall, very bland and probably a good choice for littles. Portion reasonable for the price ($7ish), It's located with two other food trailers in a nice little Beer garden type place. We aren't beer drinkers, so the food has to stand alone. If we lived in the area, might give the whole place another try. Perhaps we ordered wrong or it was an off day. I wouldn't take the time to seek it out again.

Stopped by The Tap House to see what it was all about besides the obvious "The Tap" part. The place is pretty neat and the atmosphere was a 10/10 I'm a recovering alcoholic and being there didn't at all matter. The atmosphere was beautiful outside (cool water misters surrounded by people in quiet conversations, children laughing with pizza in hand) Mac And Cheese Steaks is always a guaranteed good bet in my book and I honestly hope to see The Tap House stick around for the long run because it's a pleasant change for this town.

We only had the mac and cheese, both traditional and garlic. I have to say I was a bit disappointed while it was ok it was not great for a food truck that has Mac and Cheese on it's name. The portion size was not great either, for $6 it should have been a larger portion. We've eaten there before and it was just ok then too. I will probably try them one more time but try something other then their Mac and cheese.

Got the Mac N Cheese Steak. Mac n Cheese was good, but I had hard time finding meat on the sandwich. It was basically Mac n Cheese with peppers and onions on a hoagie. My wife had the chicken cheese steak and it had twice as much meat.

When I arrived I was pretty excited to try this place. That got spoiled pretty quickly, the staff member who took my order was pretty rude. I got the garlic mac and cheese and garlic fries. Both were very bland- Youre better off cooking at home. Plus side though is the food got done quickly. Another weird thing is they charge the same price for soda pop and water. Usually water is cheaper. Just my opinion. Id opt out for the pizza trailer next time personally. Maybe you’re experience was better than mine.

This is a small food truck with a limited menu, but the food it offers, it does well. I have been here several times over the past few months, and every time, the mac and cheese has been served with noodles cooked perfectly, with thick cheese and just the right amount of heat on the spicier dishes (Drunken Jerk Chicken, Buffalo Chicken Mac).

The best part about this food truck, however, is the special items they offer, which rotate periodically. For example, the Sun-Dried Tomato Basil Alfredo Mac was mouthwatering--and should be a menu staple--while this week (week of 6/2/2024) they're serving a mildly spicy Red Thai Curry Mac, made with coconut milk, that is unique and flavorful.

On the whole, this truck has been a welcome addition to the downtown area, and paired with the neighboring Tina's Pizza, Between Two Buns, and of course the host site, Garage Tap House, it's a pleasant place to get dinner and a brew.

Vegetarian options: Traditional mac and cheese, one of the best things on the menu, is vegetarian, as are some of the specials they rotate, and you can get anything without chicken or cheesesteak. The menu mostly features items with meat, but if you want mac and cheese (it's in the name), you're golden.

Parking: Parking at the area is plentiful when considering on-street parking around the block. Though people may not know, the left side of one-way Elm Avenue is available for parking.
