Came with a large party, they were extremely understanding. It did take a bit but we were a big party and they cut our check 10 different ways without any complaints. The food, was amazing to put it lightly. I wish I had known what a gem this place is. I have been dreaming of heading back ever since!

We are on a toad trip and passing through. So glad to have found this place! They were very understaffed with the owner as the only person front of house, kitchen was backed up and slow. BUT service was great, owner was really nice and when the good finally did come, it was phenomenal! I have eaten a lot of Korean food in a lot of places, this one was different in an extremely good way. Definitely recommend the Kim chee jeon, bibimbab, soonduboo. Really great!

The food was very good! Love the chicken soup. The beef was also very good. They have a lot of different dish on there menu. The service was really good and they were very friendly and helpful. We were on a road trip back to Portland and stop here for a quick bit and it didn't disappoint.

Writing this as the reviews for this place blow my mind. Came based on the reviews and left in a bad mood because the food was so bad.Interesting ambiance. Dark and moody vibes. A TV was playing to show the streets of Seoul.Seems like there is one server/waiter and one cook (a Korean couple). The service was slow. We waited at the front for a few minutes before we were seated. Food took a while to come out as well. The spicy pork bulgogi was the SALTIEST thing I have ever tasted in my life. It wasn't even spicy in the slightest bit. It was quite frankly the worst spicy pork bulgogi I have ever had. The miso soup also tasted like soap. The seafood dolsot bibimbap had no seafood and no real flavor. Wouldn't say it was terrible, but it wasn't amazing. The seafood tofu soup was not an accurate representation of what tofu soup should taste like. Had no spicy flavor to it. Tasted almost like a sea water soup with nothing impressive about it at all. There was also no banchan served. Near the end the man gave us kimchi and some soybean sprouts, but again disappointing since side dishes are a big part of any Korean restaurant. This is not authentic at all and a very BAD representation of Korean food. Would not recommend! Go somewhere else. Honestly a meal at Subway would have been more satisfting.

I love korean food and when I came to Oregon for work, this is my go to spot! If you're looking for authentic korean food this is a place to go! Make sure to order the grilled yellowtail tuna. It's the best! Other asian restaurants in the area serves Korean and Chinese/Japanese food and I find that it is lacking in quality.Coming here feels like dining in a family/friend's house. The owner is very nice. He makes sure he talks to me whenever I come and they are very welcoming. I surely miss this place and will definitely come visit the next time I'm in Medford! L

What a great treat this place is! Was passing though Medford during a business travel trip, and ducked in for an early dinner. From the first look at the menu, I could tell that the food was going to be authentic. I ended up going with a Korean classic - Beef Bulgogi. Highly recommend - was a generous portion too, and came with a wonderful selection of banchan. Had the opportunity to talk to the owner, who was warm and welcoming, and he ended up bringing home grown greens to the table to make ssam! Service was great and attentive, and the interior itself was cozy and interesting. A full brick wall behind the bar with great decor as well - not at all dated or dirty feeling!

The staff are so incredibly friendly here and the ambiance is superb. I got the ramen with pork and the spice was perfect. I've had ramen from a few places in town, notably the one that is most famous for it here in Medford, but I honestly prefer SooRah's ramen. Other places tend to have more ingredients in their ramen, which I like, but I just love the noodles and flavor way more here. They offer takeout and so far their timings have been spot on.

SooRah is an absolutely amazing gem in the Rogue Valley and I wish more people knew about them! The staff is kind and attentive and the food is great (warning on the authentic spicier side but they can make things less spicy if you ask). The kimchi fried rice is amazing, they make it vegetarian friendly for my partner and I. Their selection of Korean food is so rare here, and they do Japanese food super well also. From the Japanese curry to to soon tofu soups to japchae to sushi or katsu they're so good. Also a wide variety of drinks, and the ambience is pretty and pleasant with walking tour videos and nice music. Great local hidden treasure southern Oregon is so lucky to have.

We were in Medford and got hungry for lunch. We were trying to find a place with decent reviews that had sushi options and this place seemed to fit the bill, at least based on Yelp results. We were seated promptly when we arrived and there was only one other table occupied while we were there. The waiter, whom I assume was also the owner of the restaurant advised us that there were no sushi options available as the sushi chef was not working the day we were there. After looking over the menu, my wife ordered her dish, my daughter got chicken nuggets from the kid's menu, and I was recommended the shrimp fried rice as the waiter said it was really good. Well, my wife thought her food was somewhat decent but could have been better, we tried one of my daughter's chicken nuggets and it was literally rock hard. We could barely bite through it, so she ended up eating the sides that came with it, and my shrimp fried rice was not good at all. Based on several reviews, our experience must have been a fluke, but we did leave disappointed.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We waited a long time for our food but that might be to a staffing issue. It was worth the wait.

Truly exquisite place to eat. The restaurant is carefully and lovingly decorated and is so beautiful inside. The hot pots were so fantastic. I'd never had bib bim bop before and it was so good and filling. Highly recommend the grilled eel as well. Excellent, friendly service, fair price, really lovely courses and side dishes as well. A total don't miss for Medford!! I wish I'd taken a picture. Hopefully next time!

Can't say it's the best Korean food in Medford... ambiance is okay, but that's not saying a lot. If I had to choose between the 2 options... this wouldn't be the 1st.

Fresh, healthy, and delicious. We shared between the two of us, per the servers suggestion, glad he did because these portions are huge. Excellent food. I will be back.

This place is great! We had driven for more than five hours and wanted some Korean food, and we were not disappointed. The bibimpop was so good with fresh ingredients and a lot of seafood. We also got the soontofu, which was also delicious. The service was great (the owner was so nice and gave us some recommendations for sightseeing in Crater Lake) and super friendly. It was so nice eating some authentic Korean food after a long road trip from Los Angeles to Oregon! Definitely recommend!
