Two nights at this restaurant. First nite slow service and the food wasn’t good. The second nite we left after our food had not arrived after 37 minutes with no idea from the staff when it would arrive. The manager came to our table and found nothing wrong with the service or delay. She was very unprofessional . Our group loves the facility and golf course but will never eat at the restaurant again.

Wow! Excellent all around. Service was amazing! Food was outstanding, tasty, and filling. Drinks were on point. Have to be patient. It’s fine dining, so be prepared to socialize and be patient for your meal.

One of the worst meals I've ever had in a sit down restaurant. Flavorless, overcooked, underseasoned, gristly, paper-thin steak. Flavorless mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from rehydrated powder. A mooshy dinner roll. A garnish of soggy, undersalted asparagus. We ate dinner surrounded by unoccupied tables that were loaded with dirty dishes. 5 star prices, 1 star food. Yuck.

Spent $52.00 on two burgers and we did not get what we wanted. They forgot additions on our burgers and the lady I called on the phone didn’t care much to make it right. She said there was nothing they could do for us. This restaurant has shown time and time again that they won’t give you what you order, especially with their food being overpriced. Burgers didn’t have much flavor and neither did the fries. I definitely would not recommend wasting your time and money here.

We had two small children and while they typically do well in restaurants, they became almost as impatient as my husband and I during our long wait for food and drinks. We were waiting for over an hour and the food was mediocre. We had planned on a weekend stay but we'll make the trip to Ashland so we can enjoy better food and service. The menu options were much more limited than they were in the past which would be fine if they did those few dishes really well. Very disappointed.

Waited 56 minutes for apps and almost 70 minutes for dinner. While the food was good, it ruined our evening plans as it was too dark to do what we had planned.

Edit: thank you for the response. What was more upsetting than the wait, was no apology or acknowledgment of the issue while we were there. I’d recommend that acknowledging the challenge to lessen the frustration in the restaurant.

The food had good flavor but portions were very small, which made everything way overpriced! Oh and the dessert, don’t bother. We got the Brownie Ala Mode and it was a generic (small) piece of brownie with a scoop of generic vanilla icecream, neither of which had much flavor.

The view is peaceful, the service was good. I ordered the margarita flatbread, which was a lot of cheese with one cherry tomatoe, not exactly a margarita flatbread. I was rather disappoined.

This is the restaurant at the Wyndham Running Y village. It’s past the lobby and has a small bar, some inside seats, and more seating outside with heat lamps and lively view facing a creek. The wooden interiors are warm and inviting. There are two free electric vehicle charging right outside.

The service staff are friendly and amicable. Kitchen staff are relatively slow - we waited 45min for our entrees. The salad came out about 30min from ordering. We got hungry and asked for bread rolls.

The menu is extremely limited and varies. Don’t trust what you see on the photos here or on Yelp.

The spinach salad we ordered didn’t have feta, so we asked them to add it and they obliged. There was a split plate charge to share. Vinaigrette was great.

Bread rolls were warm and butter was whisked. Excellent. We ordered a vegetarian pasta and a salmon in orzo with capers. The pasta was underscored with more oil than cheese. The salmon was too salted but cooked well, a touch rare.

Earlier, I ordered a mocha that was in a dark roast and was somewhat bitter with the taste of the chocolate too faint. I ordered another mocha the next day in the morning and it wasn’t much better. More of an inspired latte.

Bill came to about $95 before tip for a mocha, Diet Coke, salad, bread rolls, and two entrees.

For the time and money I’d go elsewhere next time. But this place will do in a pinch.

Once we were seated and ordered our food, it took about 40 minutes for our food to arrive; three burgers and one fish and chips. When we were first seated, the place was nearly empty, but filled up as we sat and waited. It took way too long to get our food. I had to eventually ask the server when our food would arrive. Other folks had already gotten their food, ate it, and had the bill in hand. I began to wonder if they forgot about us.

We’ve all experienced situations like this; all is forgiven when the food arrives, right? Not in this case. I had their signature dish, the wingman burger. The fries were stale and salted to the brim. The lettuce was shriveled and looked weeks old. The bun was stale. I got everything on it, yet it tasted bland. It’s hard to mess up a burger, but this is by far the worst I’ve had. My wife and kids had similar feelings about what they ate.
