I made reservations for a party of 8. I received a confirmation text on the day of. We all arrive on time only to find the restaurant is CLOSED! I was so embarrassed! I had friends in from out of town and I wanted to treat them to a nice dinner, instead we were stranded, frantically looking for a restaurant that could accommodate us last minute. Huge bummer. So unprofessional. If you are going to accept reservations via web, learn to use the platform! I will not be returning here sadly.

We went to Beso today, September 29, 2024, for brunch. We had a 10am reservation for 4 and we were treating friends to a restaurant one had yet to experience. We were greeted by a very nice young man who informed us this was his first day and he was called in at the last minute to fill in. He then had to tell us they did not have the brunch menu available. Hmm. Okay, we will order from a very abbreviated lunch menu. We ordered coffee and it seemed that it was “left over” coffee reheated in the microwave. Kind young man made us fresh when we asked. Sandwiches and salads arrived that were okay, but one sandwich was abysmal. From 10 till 12:30 we were the only folks in there. What has happened to Beso? It was an embarrassment. The only bright spot was this very new employee who was trying so hard. Never going back.
We had reservations but they didn't have a table available so we waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Not that big of a deal. As she seated us, she asked if we were ready to order. We said we needed couple of minutes and then probably another 20 minutes passed before I had to hail her down to get her to take our order. And we waited...and waited... Because there seemed to be every effort made to avoid eye contact with us, I had to hail her down again to ask where our meat & cheese board was. By this time, we had been seated for 1 1/2 hours! This is a charcuterie board we talking about! I nursed my glass of wine for as long as I could waiting for the food, but there wasn't much left by the time if finally arrived. The bread on it was good, but the quality and portions were just mediocre, so way overpriced at $28. And forget having a glass of chardonnay. The only one they offered was a 5oz pour for $22! They were clearly short staffed. I'll give them that, but please show your patrons some respect by making eye contact, checking in, apologizing - anything!
We sat down while it was super busy and still received incredible food and service. Tiffany in particular was extremely personable and accommodating. Absolutely 10/10

We enjoyed a wonderful meal and exceptional cocktails here. Staff were super accommodating and realized we needed extra time to catch up with friends. And of course the wine selections are on point. Beso is a great option in LO with a very authentic vibe. Good indoor and outdoor dining options.

Tuna salad with a little bit of what it seemed canned tuna, charcuterie board was very overpriced for supermarket grade meats and cheese and not a very enthusiastic employees. We were also overcharged for wine, which we only noticed after paying. Definitely not coming back.

Out of town for a soccer tournament, we were thinking we were walking into Bairds on B. It wasn’t until we were seated and about to order that I realized our mistake (Beso is printed on the door and the menu but there is a giant Baird’s sign above the entrance to Beso). They made us feel at home anyway, despite our soccer sideline attire and 4 kids. We had good food and great service and really appreciated the fabulous spot. Would recommend, though perhaps without the kids next time.

Absolutely incredible wine bar! We walked here from A street after dinner and had the best time sipping incredible wines. The place is sooo cute and has major vibes! Inside looked really cute, but the weather was perfect so we sat outside on the adorable patio. They have A TON of local Oregon wines and beautiful French ones and more. This will be our go to wine shop and date night spot! HIGHLY recommend. Also, the service was some of the best we’ve ever had. So attentive, warm, friendly, knowledgeable. We felt like family and can’t wait to go back!

We had a reservation at 11:30am, placed our wine and food order around 11:40am. We waited an hour for a salad and hummus that never came. Eventually we left and when my husband checked out, only then did they remember our food and “started” on it. There was a big table that came after us that got served before us which was frustrating because we ordered cold foods and they ordered hot. It was disappointing since during that hour we were there we only got checked on once and it was to place our order. I was looking forward to trying this place and I understand it was a holiday (July4th) but we made a reservation and our order was basically forgotten.

Lunched there with a group of women. It’s such a charming atmosphere, and the food was excellent. Nice variety for lunch. It was not busy at the time, and the owner, Vanessa, was very attentive.
Vegetarian options: A variety of salads and soups and wonderful Little t bread to go with.

Met 10 girls for lunch, and the service was excellent for a large party. The menu offered lots of choices and the server was very good at pairing the wines they offered with the meal. I will definitely go back.

A Lake Oswego gem! The wine list is really well curated, everything was delicious. I also love that they serve cocktails now! One of the best margaritas I've had.
