The donuts were WAY overpriced and not that good. I just wanted a plain maple donut but I could only get one with bacon on it, and it was dry anyways.

This is my new favorite blue star location. The inside is so charming and the staff were so incredibly friendly! My wife and I came here on a morning date to get donuts and coffee and they were both delicious. Blue Star Donuts are the best donuts around, and for me personally, they have produced the best donuts I have ever had. This location is also next to some other fun shops, so it's perfect for meeting friends or dates! Highly recommend this location and giving BSD a try! You won't be disappointed!

Blue star doughnuts is a solid three stars for me. The doughnuts had a fun twist to the flavors and concepts. I had the original doughnut which had a bright citrus taste. The original glazed doughnut is priced at $4.75. The dough was on the bready-er side for my likings. I feel like fresh out of the fryer these would have been amazing, however they seem like they had all been sitting around and not super fresh. There is street parking and a nearby parking garage with free parking. On the inside there is plenty of seating for groups of all sizes. When we arrived there was a sign on the door that said they would be back soon. When they got back the staff was extremely friendly and quick with service. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors and I think coming earlier in the day may affect the freshness of the doughnuts.

Best doughnut hands down in this area. They sometimes make a killer laté as well but only one of the girls who works there does.. the others don’t know how to make a good one.

Best donuts I've had in a long time but they are a pretty penny . I'd say it's worth it though .

I've been a fan of Blue Star Donuts since I first tried it in Portland six years ago. Since I live in LA, the Venice location is one of my favorite spots. When I arrived at this location, I was disappointed that they were out of my 5 star favorites, which are The O.G. and Raspberry Rosemary Old-Fashioned. I usually don't order filled donuts, but Blue Star and Sidecar are the only places that I make the exception. The Valrhona Chocolate Crunch (4.75 stars) could have had more of the yummy vanilla custard. I enjoyed the chocolate layer. It used to have more chocolate pearls, which added great texture to the donut. The Lemon & Lime Curd (5 stars) had a nice balance of sweet and tart filling, and it was as delicious as I remember. These two flavors are not always on the menu, and they're a must order when they're available. During my visit, they had three vegan options. The Tropical Delight (3 stars) tasted too sweet. The Orange Olive Oil (4 stars) had just the right amount of orange flavor. It was messy like the Lemon & Lime Curd since they were both covered in powdered sugar. I didn't get to try the Sugar n' Spice. The service (4 stars) was good as my donuts were packaged quickly. I think these donuts are worth it. Blue Star includes unique and delightful flavor combinations. I always look forward to trying new flavors.

I didn't want to like this place. Stupid fancy hipster donuts... but damn they're good.

Always awesome! Chocolate bergamot old fashioned donut is 10/10.What else can I say - everything I read was true. Donuts for grown ups and grown ups that don't care about donuts for grown ups Bonus - it's in downtown Lake Oswego, so you can try them out and enjoy a wonderful area to walk around and explore in.

I went into the Lake Oswego Blue Start Donut shop and couldn't find any prices and no-one at the counter even looked at me. I ordered 3 old fashioned donuts, thinking they would be no more than $2 each. I got to the register and paid. I wasn't offered a receipt so I had no idea what I paid. I had a friend with me who asked for a receipt and he was charged $10 for 2 small cake donuts!!!! I looked online when I got home and I was charged $15 for 3 small cake donuts! I thought they must be extra good for that price. Boy was I wrong!!! They tasted like very old grease and my hands and napkin were covered in grease. Service, price, and taste are rated VERY poor.

Awesome! Something for everyone gourmand or picky youngster. My kid picked the passion fruit with cacao sprinkles and it ended up being a tad spicy, but he still ate it! They also look beautiful too.
