Amazing place really good coffee

I went here on a Sunday morning. It's a relatively small place, a corridor with about 5-6 tables. You're always within earshot of all of them. There is a cabinet with exotic looking wine on one end and the barista/cash counter on the other. There are a few snacks available as well, but the coffee is of course the main attraction. I thought I knew something about the espresso coffee variants, but I found myself stumped by the names of the drinks on there, and put on the spot, I went for the usual latte. Next time I will do more research beforehand and definitely pick one of the more exotic drinks. The coffee tasted great! Give it a try if you are looking for something different.

We call it "The Zocc." And so should you. Every coffee drink. Every biscotti. Look at the wine. Meet the friendly customers. In summer, sit out under the firs. Get a big paint-by-number of a clown, unpack it at a table, paint that sucker right up.

this place felt really unsafe and had almost no food options. I work as a gardener and my appearance breaks some gender norms. I don't know if it was classism or because my appearance breaks gender norms, but when I came in I was met with some of the most out right hostility that I have ever faced in the Portland metro area.I came in looking for a snack and a treat to augment my lunch and to enjoy on a beautiful day. I found no snack and canceled my drink because of the barista's behavior. this is not a safe space.

Good coffee, but the service (or lack thereof when it comes to reciprocating a smile or exchanging any kind of words unless you’re a regular) feels really weird. I wouldn’t recommend going out of your way to come here when there’s so many places where you can get great coffee and not feel unwelcome.Maybe I just came here at a bad time, but theoretically shouldn’t baristas have enough caffeine on hand to be able to be able to at least act like they don’t begrudge you coming to their shop? It’s rare that someone ignores their customers this significantly— it just feels so rude and jarring to try and be polite and kind to someone just for them to completely ignore you.Coming into this place, I was already excited for my next visit— but after the surreal experience with the detached barista who pretends you’re not there, there unfortunately won’t be another visit.

Coffee is good, the barista dude with blonde hair and heavyset is very rude and disrespectful, happened to us on two occasions.

simply great coffee service with a smile, and they remember your face and name dog friendly, and lots of friendly dogs highly loyal clientele, see the same people amongst the crowds, week in and week out. Outside in the back, under the trees on the bocci court, lovely, quiet and a great conversation venue

I came in after my father's funeral and the staff was incredibly rude to both myself and my husband. You could tell there was definitely a classist vibe. We are low-income and both work in customer service, but we always tip well and act polite. I don't expect service workers to be peppy or smiling, but basic human decently would have been nice. The menu was also dishonest. The sandwich I ordered clearly stated on the sign that it came with peppers and onions (not bacon, which is what it came with instead of vegetables). If you change the ingredients in a menu item, especially if it "was changed over a month ago" like I was rudely told after receiving a sandwich filled with meat and no vegetables, the change should be listed or at the very least verbally communicated to the customers. The person behind the counter rolled their eyes almost every time I tried to say something or ask a question. They even rolled their eyes when my husband said thank you and tipped them (before the whole sandwich debacle). I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you like rude baristas and mediocre food.

Ordered a flat white and it was served like a latte. The coffee here is weak and service blah. Would not come back.
