When you think of a hole in the wall restaurant that serves authentic Costa Rican food, you probably don't think Lake Oswego. But Casa del Pollo is legit. The smoked chicken is amazing, the gallo pinto is unreal, and everything is good.
Amazing delicious food! Highly recommend! Also the staff is very friendly, and if you are not familiar with the food ask them and they will gladly explain it to you :)

I've been to Costa Rica and the food at this restaurant is better than any I experienced while in the country. I should not be surprised since we found the restaurant listed on Eater, our 'go to' reference for quality restaurants.

We ordered way too much food on our last visit and I'm glad we did! The fried yuca were delicious, even as cold leftovers. The smoked chicken burrito was super tasty and smelled amazing to boot. And the tres leches cake kept me happy for days. We also got and enjoyed the chips & guacamole (fresh, not spicy, my kid's favorite) and the fried plantains. For drinks, my kid preferred the horchata and I loved the hibiscus.

This is our work group's go to spot. Amazing food & amazing service. The portion size is very generous with high quality food/taste. Today we headed out to lunch early because we could not wait to eat the food

They forgot my sons burritos. I was upset because they offered us to come back down and pick them up with zero compensation... just a sorry. I operate a business myself and I believe in making things right. Sorry is not compensation for the look on my sons faces when their food wasn't in the bag. With that being said the food is amazing. The smoked chicken burrito was great. Rice was great... different and a breath of fresh air. Ill Definitely look over the mistakes we all make as humans... I'd try this place if I was you.
