Great environment and view, I did only get one dish which was the Ahi Poke. It lacks Asian twist and flavor. Coming from someone who is Asian this is very Americanized. It was fresh but just lacked flavor and authenticity

Great staff, reasonable drinks, tasty food. Well worth the walk up 20 stairs to get there.

Best smoked sturgeon I've had in years! Would recommend

We had reservations and requested a nice table for 2. We were seated at a table that looked into a storage area with plastic plants, dirty outdoor furniture and other garbage on one side and the kitchen on the other side.
The menu was boring and lacked imagination. The brussel sprouts with spicy apples and pork belly forgot to add the pork belly. The fruit and cheese plate was boring and cheap. The coconut shrimp, calamari and spring rolls were just ok.
The table next to us walked out after looking at the menu.
Service and drinks were nice.

The stuffed salmon was delicious and well-balanced. Good service, good food, and good vibes. And be sure to try the oysters.

Food was good when I visited a week ago but today I was trying to track down the Patricia Green wine I enjoyed while there and the bar tender was very helpful. Nice to get great service even when you’re not there.

Food was perfectly prepared, delicious from appetizers to dessert! Atmosphere was quiet, we sat next to the bar. Loved the ambiance. Our waiter was the BEST!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back many times. This place should be featured as a top restaurant in the US! My thanks to the chef.

Five stars for 5 Spice! We’ve stopped in twice in the past week, and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite go-to spots in Lake Oswego. This isn’t just a fun place to go—it’s a place with real energy. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, the staff is genuinely friendly, and even the other patrons are a pleasure to be around.

Both times we sat at the bar, which is a perfect place to strike up conversations and take in the vibe. The happy hour menu? Fantastic. I had the spring rolls with a bright, flavorful mango sauce that I’m still thinking about, and the calamari came with a deliciously creamy aioli that was spot-on.

The cocktail I had was light, sunny, and just right for the warm day—wish I could remember the name, but it was a winner. The menu is fresh, the service is consistently excellent, and let’s not forget the stunning view of the lake—it really elevates the entire experience.

Highly recommend 5 Spice whether you’re grabbing a casual drink or settling in for a great meal. It’s a gem.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The squid was good but not spicy. Salads were very great with a variety of materials. The fish stew was very good, The lentil main dish was terrific with a lentil base with roasted vegetables and mushrooms on top. We hadn't visited for some time, but we will be back.
