Elephants Lake Oswego

Once a month,on a Sunday at 10: am, I meet my friend Linda at the elephant deli in lake Oswego for breakfast. We like meeting there because it's plenty of room for us to sit. I get the same thing to eat every time I go there. I ordered the quiche in the vegetable or the meat and it's the size of a large large deck of cards along with that I get a chai tea latte in a to go cup and my friend Linda usually gets the same except without the chai tea. And yesterday while we were there I discovered my friend MJ who I used to work at golf course Claremont golf course with work through now so it's great to see her.

Stood at the hot food ordering area for a bit while 2 employees ignored me. One finally stepped over when someone came up behind me to order.

There were 4 employees at the payment area when the place was dead. Could have been 2 easily. It was a Sunday afternoon around 1pm.

#1 spot for sweet potatoe tots, in the universe... ❤️‍🔥🥵

Great place to grab something quick or get something made for lunch. So definitely come back here.
PROS- lots of yummy options. Pastries to lunch options to to go meals.
Fish tacos were quite yummy abd the Mahi Mahi was juicy and fresh.
Cheese bread was really good. Would probably be amazing if one got it first thing in the morning. I'll have to try that next time.
Avocado toast was good-crispy and lots of avocado
The scones also looked on point.
CONS-caesar salad was mid. Too much parmesan cheese and thick dressing was a bit much for me.

Lily went out of her way to make our experience wonderful! She could have just sold us what we ordered but she helped me decide what a good substitute was for something they were out of. I was so bummed for a second when the other employee said they were out of it. Lily came to the rescue and made my night! Highly recommend this location.

I can't say anything about what's happening in the store because I ordered on Uber, however the breaded chicken strips were very good. The fries were very average though.

Food is good but on the pricier side, ordered a Reuben and a Korean fried chicken sandwich. Flavors are on point but portions are average, and at 15-17$ per sandwich ala carte without sides, would expect them to be a bit bigger or offer a side. Service average, food came out quick, about 10 minutes.

I’ve been here a couple times recently and may I say, the service has never disappointed. There is always a smile on everybody faces, and even though i’ve only been here a few times- my usual server Maddy already knows my name, my wife’s name and both of our orders. Maddy has gone above and beyond to make sure my food is met to quality standards, and I appreciate the way she remembers us. My wife is gluten free, and she explained all of Elephants options and how they can adjust to her needs. I would say we our very pleased with our experience. The tomato soup and pastrami reuben is my new go to! Excellent little spot.

Excellent experience in every way . Tessa was working the register. She was especially pleasant. And extremely courteous when I had a difficulty. She was very patient and helped me a great deal. I thank you all. The food is always extraordinarily good. And the staff is always very very pleasant these days 🌹

I had the soup and chicken quesadilla with lunch. The soup was great while quesadilla salsas lacked heat. One of the options was even sweet. Their coffee and baked goods is great. Nice location, will try something else next time.

I was excited to move to a nearby Elephant’s deli because I remember the tomato soup and good eats . This place needs a kitchen makeover and I know how I could help .

Just visit....everything is sooo good....from all the decor.....to the food....to the dinner for later.....so happy I stopped there today. All the employees are so nice and lovely!!! Thank you for a top notch place-

Everytime I've been in here everyone is smiling and friendly so im not sure what the other recent reviews are talking about. The food is good and convenient. Way better than the other grab and go lunch place I went to down the way that served me brown avocado. Lots of gluten free options which I appreciate! Also tons of fun treats and goodies for a quick gift if you need it.
