Grassa offers excellent service and amazing food, with a welcoming atmosphere. The dining area has a great vibe, although some find it resembles a cold, cavernous warehouse with communal tables. Despite the ambiance, the meals are fresh and hot, coming out fairly quickly from their efficient counter service model. The menu features delicious homemade pasta dishes, including the Carbonara and spaghetti aglio olio, both praised for their flavor and quality. The Carbonara is noted for its big chunks of pancetta and a rich sauce, while the spaghetti aglio olio features delicate pasta. Dishes like the Fusili ala Vodka, which has a spicy red sauce and lovely chunks of pork shoulder, are also popular. The Caesar salad is excellent, with just the right amount of dressing and anchovies, making it a great choice. The garlic bread remains a must-order item, crispy on the outside and soft inside.
