Had high hopes for a great pub experience. The service was very slow. Friendly but slow. Orders of food took way too long, and it wasn't busy when we got there. The meatloaf sandwich was just not that great with a deep fried pepper laminated onto the meat. very unappealing and not fun to eat. the potato salad was great. the fries my husband had were hot a crisp enough. but it was not that great of an overall experience.

I didn't think I could eat the whole meal but I did!
The entrance is a little tricky but worth finding. This place has great food! I recommend the French dip with the fruit side. Large chunks of fresh melon and pineapple with huge grapes. Perfectly ripened and fresh.
We stopped in, and their service was top-notch.We were instantly seated, and our orders came in just minutes.
If you are in the area and want an excellent sit-down lunch in a rush, this is the place to go.

Returning for scrumptious mushroom soup after a long COVID hiatus, my husband uses a walker and cannot climb stairs. Gubanc's ADA elevator requires that a call be made to request an employee who then races out with a key to unlock and operate the mechanism. No independence with dignity for challenged customers!

This place is great and you would know it by how busy it usually is. Kind of a greatest hits type of menu with something for everyone, but with an interesting twist/ingredient to most things. For example a club sandwich, but with jalapeno mayo and pepperjack, or a steak sandwich with crab dressing on it. The building and decor are craftsman, with a lot of interesting wood around. It is very cozy. The service is also great. It's busy but you can usually get a table. Highly recommend this Lake Oswego gem.
