Ethan was an amazing waiter! He came w great recommendations, and the food was absolutely out of this world! I will be going back as soon as I am able . Try their chicken teriyaki!

We had a great experience here for dinner with our son and daughter in law. Then seafood pancake thing wasn't a hit but everything else was fantastic and our server was great

The edamame and the potstickers was good. The sushi was good. You have to be careful which sushi you say because they brought us the wrong one, but it was still good and we didn’t take it back because we were trying to be nice. I got the Ramen ….do not get the Ramen!!!!!! Do not get any of the Ramens or soup dishes. They tasted so bad. It smelled bad. It tasted bad. I shared my boyfriends sushi in the end. There’s so many good Ramen places out there, but literally it was real bad. I thought I was probably eating rotten food. Everyone was really nice. The restaurant was kind of cold and its fall 56 outside should have it a bit warmer.

Ever since our old sushi spot in Sherwood went downhill back in the day, we have been looking for a brand new spot in the area. After trying 5 or 6 different places, we finally tried Hero Sushi and have not looked back since, and it's hard to believe that was seven years ago. Now, our family has a great relationship with the staff and Art is my man when it comes to making sushi. Each time I visit, I like to give him a little challenge of a few ingredients or flavors I want in my omakase roll and he delivers every time. Even writing this review, I am salivating at the thought of the last dish he prepared for me (my challenge was scallops and warm). Honestly, the only reason we probably go there so much is because of Art, he has been the mainstay for so long. So they better keep him forever, because if he goes somewhere else, we more than likely will follow. Then my typical comment of "Never again!" while leaving the restaurant might actually hold true.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love those Ramune drinks they have. And for beginner sushi eaters, they have those chopsticks helpers as well so the kids can enjoy the sushi experience. They got other food too for weird kids that are picky eaters that I am forced to bring.
Always friendly, always tasty. Might be my favorite miso soup. Sunrise roll is sooo good. Highly recommend Hero!

I suggest finding a different place to eat. I found a black hair (I have red hair) in my sushi. When I told the server, he said, "Sorry about that" and nothing else (such as, "Would like a different sushi roll?" Secondly, I was completely disappointed with the spicy tuna roll (and I love sushi). The "tuna" seemed more like a gooey paste with no flavor. I have no idea what it was or why it would be on the lunch menu. If you choose to eat here, do NOT order the spicy tuna roll.
