Food was a flavorless greasy expensive mess. My husband gagged on the sweet and sour pork. It was greasy with an off flavor. The sweet and sour sauce was also very thin and didn’t coat the meat. Don’t recommend!

Disgusting. All the food was undercooked and the fried rice taste like a filthy ashtray/cigarette smoke! "Not liquid smoke,cigarette."..... I been a chef for 25 years never in my life have i had food so nasty. If you dont care to make edible food than do something else. Almost as if someone was smoking cigarettes while cooking.... Unreal and I reported this place to the local oregon health authority and other departments. Tired of spending so much on food that is dangerous to eat.

Service was good here along with the atmosphere. That is where it ends. Ordered the beef and broccoli. Broccoli was soggy and overcooked and beef was limp and lifeless. My spouse ordered the salmon. It was overcooked dry, and had a very pungy fishy smell and taste to it. We had leftovers that would’ve fed us the next day but we decided to throw our remains away so that we did not get sick. We will never dine at this restaurant again.

I'm not sure why it's so highly reviewed. Most of the veggies were raw or very undercooked. Broccoli and carrots were like grinding my teeth on nuts and bolts.
Flavor was meh annnnnd with a heavy emphasis on technicolor corn starch slurries. Panda is better.

Better yet, they offer gluten free alternatives for most of the menu selections which is a blessing for someone with celiac like myself and nearly unheard of at Chinese restaurants.
I live over a 15min drive from this place but gladly make the trip since I enjoy their food so much. There are other restaurants closer to where I live but have been sadly disappointed. I will happily go out of my way to order from here since I've never had a bad meal.

Hunan Pearl has a nice restaurant and good food. I was surprised by the very poor service at lunch. We waited a long while to get the menu and our order. The server forgot the soup. It was haphazard until 15 min before their 2:00 closing when three servers descended on us to put the leftovers into boxes and hussle us out. Very disappointed.

Not authentic Chinese food, not even American-Chinese food. Very plain taste. Won’t recommend if you can find another restaurant to eat. I would only dine here if all the other restaurants are closed in 30 minutes driving distance. We ordered cook twice pork and tomato beef, not even close to what these dishes should be.

Best Chinese restaurant in the world!!! I got here every week… I’ve actually never had anything here other than the crispy egg rolls and king pao chicken. The king pao SLAPS HARD. And the crispy egg rolls are served with spicy mustard that will knock your socks into outer space. You’ll also be greeted with a cup of egg flower soup or sweet and spicy, I always go for the egg flower. Last but not least, the fortune cookies will actually tell your future fortune… Good luck.
