Amazing food. Especially the cinnamon buns. Deeply, and I mean DEEPLY, incompetent counter staff. Sweet kids, just the very worst service.

I know I’m swimming against the stream here but UGH! My husband and I love good food, especially brunch and treats but this food was so bad that we literally walked out of here, which is something we never do. Yup, really, we took two bites each and left. Before our coffee arrived. Unheard of!

From the moment we walked in I got a bad vibe. The place reeked overwhelmingly of bacon, which is a weird smell to encounter in a cupcake shop. So much so we chose to sit outside in the cold. The place was empty and the girl at the counter looked like she was going to die of boredom and disinterest. She was actually almost lying on the counter with her elbows and eyeballing us. It was weird. Not good vibes.

Then there was the food. I was underwhelmed with the options and almost ordered nothing but eventually decided to try one of the “pastries” with sundried tomato and my husband ordered the egg sandwich and a chocolate donut.

Wow. The egg sandwich was like rubber and tasted like cardboard. The “pastry” had been totally overheated (microwaved!??? Gasp!!) so much that there was steam coming off of it and I could see the thing turning to rubber before me. The taste was not good, the sun-dried tomatoes were way too acidic (yes sun-dried tomatoes should taste good, not just acidic!) and it was not edible. We just left.

I’m disappointed, I was eager to try them because my mom is a celiac and I wanted to bring her around when she’s in town. Maybe for novelty I would bring her, if we had nothing better to do, but after this experience I’m doubtful. She’s a baker and avid cook that has done many courses, including at a cooking school in Provence and she creates much better tasting food at home, so I know what good gluten free food should taste like.

The lack of gluten should not be noticeable, the food should just be delicious, gluten free or not!

This place could have potential, they have the space and LO really could do with some more interesting cafes and bake shops but this isn’t one I’d recommend!

Enjoyed Kyra’s pumpkin pie for a few years and always the first dessert to go. Our gluten free family raves about it. The crust is the best ever and you would never know it’s GF. The service is 5 stars!

These are BEST gluten free cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had, no comparison. The chocolate ding dong also delicious and exactly what I remember eating as a kid.

Very professional work and quickly responds to emails. We were so happy with our wedding cake. We ended up doing each tier a different flavor and all our guests were so excited for it.

Bad custom cake experience. Went to pick up the cake, and what they showed me was a generic cake without any of the custom requests. They offered to fix it on the spot after some back and forth, but we had to wait an hour, and when I went to pick it up again, they STILL omitted a crucial part of the cake, so I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to fix that. After all of that, they had the audacity to charge me the extra cost for the custom components. The cake was beautiful, the flavor of the cake was fine, but there was too much frosting that was overly sweet, and the cake was a bit crumbly. For the price, would recommended looking elsewhere.

Loved everything! Always do. Drove almost 2 hours to be told that I needed to pre-order a half dozen frozen cinnamon rolls! I was disappointed that I did not see that on the website before hand. I was looking forward to having some frozen treats

I used Kyra’s for my wedding and had three different kinds of her award winning cupcakes for dessert (Lemon Berry Joy, Raspberry Truffle, and Peanut Butter Delight). They were an absolute hit among all the guests and any leftovers were sneakily packed away by those who were craving them later. Kyra was amazing to work with during the wedding process along with the rest of her team. I highly recommend using them for your wedding, upcoming event, or just stop by the adorable shop in Lake Oswego.

Extraordinary exemplified this gluten free gastronomic masterpiece to a tee. The staff was kind and knowledgeable as soon as we walked in the door. They made me a drink not on the menu and recommended the best gluten free cupcakes I have ever eaten. Thank you for providing a magical safe place for those with Celiac.

I really love the food here. I'm dairy free and gluten free so this has been a gem I recently discovered. MY favorite is the maple donut but ESPECIALLY the swedish almond bun. I was disappointed this recent time to discover they changed the recipe and it is no longer dairy free. It's difficult to find GF AND dairy free cinnamon rolls (and adjacents) in the area. The almond was particularly delicious. I hope you'll reconsider. My husband (who eats dairy) actually preferred the previous recipe as well taste wise. Please continue to serve dairy free/vegan options!
Thank you overall for the great tasty treats and many offerings.

Not very cozy for a coffee and pastry shop. Loved their pumpkin donut, it was a nice surprise @ 4.75/donut but that’s inflation. I had Kyra’s Club to-go and the bottom bread was soggy due to their lack of wrapping the pickle. I had a follow up visit and they didn’t seem to care that I nicely mentioned it to them but I still made a purchase. Hmmm won’t go back

Beware of palm oil! Their frosting is made of palm oil. I feel like you should know this before you spend $150 on a custom cake. The cake was delicious, and the decorations were beautiful, but I had to scrape off all the icing. Not only can palm oil make you feel ill, producing it is one of the worst things you can do to the environment. Pretty disappointing.

Kyra & her staff helped make my daughter’s wish of a “Barbie cake” come true for her 6th birthday. It was absolutely perfect, and the cupcakes came out beautifully too. So grateful to have access to such a wonderful GF bakery!!! Thank you!!!
