What an awesome space. We are here visiting. I never go to the movie theater, but if I lived here I would. It felt like a polished adult movie theater. I'm not talking about a sleazy adult theater. The drinks were great. Audio level was perfect. The theater was small and comfortable.

The current sign outside of this theater reads "In this case, Abortion is okay. Alien: Romulus." Maybe somebody thought it was funny, but I find it distasteful and degrading towards abortion and those who have to have one; why is it that for abortion to be okay, it has to be "in [the] case" of an Alien movie?

Wow wow wow. This place is absolutely fantastic. The menu is much more sophisticated than the other nearby restaurants without being pretentious. The food quality is fantastic, great beer list, lovely cocktail list, and the outdoor seating is amazing! I can’t say enough about this place.

Absolutely LOVED my first experience at Lake Theater & Cafe. Buying tickets online was quick and easy. We walked in, picked up our tickets, ordered a bunch of food, and plopped down in the event space. That space is “cabaret style” seating, so it was nice to have a table to eat at. Service was kind and quick. When I say the food was out of this world. Every first bite I took was followed by a little dance because my taste buds were so happy. We had the hummus, rosemary fries with aioli, and kent’s artisan pizza. I loved the hummus with the garlic confit and whatever seasoning that was on the flatbread. The rosemary fries were phenomenal, but the aioli…chef’s kiss. Finally, the pizza’s ingredients were delicious and it was baked perfectly. While the theater is smaller, and certainly not sound proof, the experience as a whole was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been watching movies at this little theater for over 40 years. The new ownership has leveled up the experience ten fold. Just an all around great business model with a great staff backing it all up. The clever messaging on the outside letter board makes me smile often when I drive by. Support this wonderful local business!

A total Gem of a small business on Lake Oswego. Excellent food, the hummus plate is very popular, good drinks, lovely outside patio, theater itself has a great vintage vibe. Highly recommend the Lake Theater&Cafe experience if you are in the area! Also.. love the outside theater marquee messages! I look for them every time I drive by, funny and timely, keep that local flair coming!

A total institution and probably my favorite place to socialize.Come early, stay late, have delicious cocktails and great local food. Watch a good movie, usually without having to deal with crowds.Reading back, I said it was my favorite place to socialize but it might just be my favorite place, period. Go see why!
We really love this place! The outside dining seating is so lovely on the water. The service is always excellent and very friendly. The food is outstanding. Especially the truffle fries! But everything we've gotten is so good. Great alcohol selection as well. Need to get back and see a movie here!

So nice I came twice, and brought friends the second time. Tickets for Dune 2 were fairly inexpensive and seating was more than sufficient. I cannot recommend Lake Theater & Cafe more!
