Wow! Madalyn and Jeffery behind the bar is something magical. I’ve never felt more welcomed anywhere else in my life. Between the food and the drinks their electric energy really made the whole experience. And Gavin was awesome!!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our recent experience with a bartender named Gavin deserves a warning to others. We walked in well before closing—a full 2.5 hoursbefore the posted time—only to be immediately told they were “winding down” and essentially shooed away like we were inconveniencing him just by existing. Sorry, didn’t realize pouring a drink was such an emotional burden. To make matters worse, when we tried to pay and handed him a $20 bill, Gavin looked at it like we’d asked him to solve a math equation in Latin. The eye-roll, the sigh, the dramatic shuffling to the register—it was as if making change was beneath him. Heaven forbid someone actually tips him for doing the bare minimum. It’s baffling how someone so thoroughly uninterested in customer service ended up behind a bar. If you're looking for a welcoming spot to relax, this isn’t it—not while Gavin’s on duty. His attitude single-handedly soured the night and made sure we won’t be returning. Do better

Sadly I just had a bad experience eating lunch at the tap room. The former restaurant in that place was called Montana's and my family and I used to eat there for years. We won't be doing that with the tap room I'm afraid. I left my expensive new sunglasses on the table. My eyes are extremely photosensitive and I must have sunglasses at all times. I returned about 5 minutes later to claim them and they had disappeared. After searching further I called the manager from my car. He told me he had looked everywhere and no one who worked there would have taken them so I must have left them somewhere else. When I tried to explain very nicely to him that I know I left them in exactly the spot where I left them he hung up on me. Inexcusable, inexcusable! I was not being verbally abusive so he had no excuse for doing that. I will never eat there again!

This was weird. Great place. Casual. Plenty of seating. Great service by both the hostess and our server. Fun menu...but the food was simply okay.
Good food in a nice location. I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the filet mignon with frites was. Service was slow.

Went for dinner a few nights ago to try their new menu. My wife and I shared the half rotisserie chicken with vegetables. The chicken was barely warm and generally dry like it had been sitting for a while (which it probably had). The vegetables were also barely warm. It was as if they had all been put in the oven and for a little bit but not long enough and then plated. Even if hotter the chicken still would have felt tired. We were regular and faithful diners at the old Mazanas that this restaurant replaced and really miss the quality of their food (before they were sold to Landry's). Hope for better next time but it won't be soon. Too bad since we live in the neighborhood and it is very convenient.
