“Al Amir has been a family favorite for years. The owners know my parents, and our family are fairly regular. I honestly believe Al Amir is the absolute best Lebanese food in Portland. My husband and I just had them Cater our 10th wedding anniversary party, and everyone raves about the food. They were super generous with helping navigate our event. Please consider supporting this restaurant in catering your next event! “We were a group of 5 and they seated us right away. The hummus & falafel were the stars of the show, some of the best I've had.
The fried cauliflower was excellent as well.
I was today years old when I learned that Lebanese nachos fries were a necessity in my life thanks to this place.
The service couldn't have been more gracious and friendly. Highly recommend this spot and I'll be back next trip to Portland!“

“Great service in a clean, bright environment. The employee who helped me out was very friendly and genuinely nice. I had a lamb gyro and a Turkish coffee, both were delicious and well priced. I wish this place was open on the weekends, but I'll settle for the weekdays.

“My first visit tonight and the food was simply outstanding! Service too. Greek salad was fresh and tasty with crisp lettuce, tomatoes, olives, feta and simple dressing. Chicken kebab, hummus and rice were also perfectly cooked and nicely matched with a Lebanese red wine. I’m going again soon. In two words, “yum-yum!”“

“I was my first time at that location. Very cozy atmosphere and amazing hospitality from employees. Busy around lunch but everyone receives the best attention and service. Our group of 6 were very pleased. Food is very authentic, fresh and delicious“

“Karam catered our wedding and was a definite crowd-pleaser. We ordered lamb and chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, falafel, tabouleh, dolmas, and majadra, along with hummus and baba ghannouj. Everything was delicious, just as it is whenever we dine or get takeout from Karam. Our only regret is that we didn't order baklava, too!“

“This is THE BEST mediterranean food truck. Their sauces are incredibly flavorful, meat is tender and perfectly charred. I have a gyro place right across from my house but come down here every time I'm in the mood and drag everyone else I know over here also. I LOVE this spot.“

“Don’t miss this yummy cart in the back corner! If you like a lot of sauces, this is your place. I got the lamb plate and it came with hummus, tzaziki and two other sauces. They have gluten free pita too. It was a lot of food too. And there’s some tables to eat at.

“I come from the other end of the state once a year, I don’t have this option at home and really look forward to it. I love the food. I will say that this year will be the last time to your cart. The gentleman that took my order was a dick. I started by saying hello, only to be stared back at… ordered, to only be told my total… order ready, picked it up and said thank you, response was to have back turned to me as he walked away.. I’m not sure what I did to piss this p**** off, but I don’t like your food enough to deal with it anymore. “No soup for you!”“
