Been a while since I have been here. Came for a dinner with my daughter for the first time in 4 years. Ordered Irish stew $20 I received more soup than stew. One slice of a potato, three slices of a carrot. Bread was good and the only reason I didn’t complain. I get it. It’s an expensive time. But i could have purchased a loaf and a can of soup at Safeway and paid half of what I received. I’ll come here for the ambiance and beer. No more food for me. Obtw they were out of 6 menu items and it was 5:30pm.

Disclaimer: My husband was raised in the UK and we've spent many an hour in authentic pubs throughout our adult life together. While we don't really expect to find a truly Irish pub experience in the US, there are plenty who try for decent food, hospitality and some decent brews on tap. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. I will give credit to the rustic vibe which does slightly resemble a small village pub you might come across now and then. And our server was friendly and attentive enough to warrant a decent tip. My husband ordered a half and half which is an equal mix of Guinness and Lager. He found it to be an uneven pour and light on Guinness. Not a dealbreaker, but that's the kind of thing you expect them to get right. But what really shocked us was what the kitchen was passing off as a Shepherds pie. This gold standard - everywhere - is a mix of ground beef (or lamb), peas/carrots, gravy sauce, topped with a thick layer of mashed potato and a spare bit of cheese. This pub reinvented some kind of gooey mix of oddly-spiced, over-cooked, ground meat topped with a thick, greasy layer of cheese and about a tablespoon of potato lost under all that. I didn't finish mine, brought it home and ended up tossing it. Both the person who greeted us at the door and the bartender gave off weird, unwelcoming vibes, which is kind of sad because this place could be a neighborhood gem with the right management and attention to kitchen details. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Service was slow and unfriendly today. The food was good. I am a regular and was very disappointed

Met old friends here, they recommended the fish and chips, possibly the best I have ever had! One giant piece of fresh fish in a crisp batter.Parking: We parked two blocks away on the street, I could see it being more of an issue at popular times.

I was craving some traditional Irish food, so I figured I would try out this pub. The atmosphere is really nice. Everything is wood, and this building has obviously been around for a very long time.Heather and Justin( the owners) were in when I got there for lunch, two of the friendliest, warmhearted people I have met. Everything on the menu was tempting but today I did the bangers and mash. This order comes with cabbage as well, that’s cooked with bacon. All I can say as WOW. Every bite Was superb and left me looking forward to the next. I haven’t had a meal like this in a long time. It turns out that they have their bangers made especially for the pub. The mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect. The cabbage was soft and flavorful everything paired so well. Normally I don’t clean my plate, but this time I did, and was left, full and satisfied. (turns out everything is made from scratch) They have a dessert which is called a “plum duff” it’s a bread pudding type dessert, However, it’s made from donuts. I think they use Myers rum in making this dish, Once again, I was not disappointed. This was another amazing dish that I gobbling up and I ate way more than I should have, but it was so worth it.I look forward to going back and trying other things on their menu. It’s a good thing I don’t live close by, because I could definitely see spending a lot of my free time there. And not to forget the chef Bill… well done, sir. Well done!

The B Avenue Burger was beyond amazing with the bacon jam. Atmosphere brings one back to the Emerald Isle. Server and bartender were friendly and always attentive. My first time at the establishment. Definitely planning on returning. Five stars all the way!

You walk into a house converted to a restaurant & pub. I like asking staff for their recommendations for a few reasons, this is how I learn new drinks. They also know what their best dishes are. Jordan made me a drink I never had before, and I loved it. Then he recommended the Fish and Chips. I would suggest coming here for their fish and chips! The atmosphere is cozy. I love checking out all the Irish decor. Check them out.

Working nearby, happened in for lunch about 2 weeks ago. Have now become a regular lunch patron! There is nothing I have not ABSOLUTELY loved! The fish and chips are sublime, perfectly fried. The Irish Stew gives me very warm memories of my GrandDa. Today I had the Apple, Walnut,Gorganzola salad and was amazed at the flavor. Can't wait to explore my way through the menu. Staff and both owners are wonderful and engaged. Come in!
