Oswego Grill- Lake Oswego

We didn't have the best experience, which isn't common at Oswego Grill in Lake O. I'm going to send private note to the restaurant, in hopes that it was a one off.

Just so loud, my Dad is hard of hearing so our little table right next to a group of a dozen people made it difficult to hear each other.

We eat got a salad bowl. Both of them were bland. The apple and grapes in my salad had no taste. The lemon vinaigrette had plenty of oil but very light lemon flavor. Disappointing.

The food is overall good, we ordered 2 Appetizers for sharing, California Roll is good as usual, my boy's' favorite, Steamer Claims is fresh but a little tiny, it's ok. And we have pasta, wild king salmon, fish chips and Top sirloin steak for main meal. Steak is delicious and tender, a little bit over wood fired taste for us, more restaurant style, acceptable. I enjoyed Salmon. Apple Crisp Dessert is absolutely the winner, we all love it! It's a good choice for a family dinner always, variety choice for adults and kids, good service; only complaint is next two tables are very loud groups!

Always great food and service! Ashley our server went out of her way to give 1110% to give us a great dining experience. The menu is.great with a nice variety to choose from. Love the Sunday brunch!

Don't recommend the fried fish dinner. Fish was served undercooked and the batter on the fish is too thick. Gummy inside. Had to send it back. They redid the fish but in general the batter is too thick.

Good all around. Casual atmosphere but still decent date spot. Food was good, grill style. Get the donuts for dessert!

Good food and value. Service is very good, staff is friendly and professional. Noise can be an issue for carrying on a conversation.

This Oswego Grill location is our favorite to celebrate important family events. We came to celebrate my wife Debbie's birthday. We both had the ribeye steaks. They were excellent and perfectly grilled to medium rare. We both had wine and were given the birthday present of choice which is the Bob Farrel memorial banana split. That was very delicious and filling. Our server was Rookie and they were very attentive. Rookie was very expeditious taking good care of our needs. Another Happy Birthday as usual.

We had a 6:30 pm reservation for 4 people, you were extremely busy and I believe it may have impacted our experience. One of our party waited over 20 minutes to receive her wine while the rest of us waited to toast the birthday of another one in our party. The procedure between our regular server and the person delivering wine must have caused the issue with the wine for our one guest taking over 20 minutes. We have been to both your Kruse Way and Wilsonville locations many times (10-12) over the last several years.

We did not have a reservation and were told at 6:05pm that would be a 35 minute wait for a table for 4. At 6:40pm we were told that some tables were being cleared and it would only be "a few more minutes." After about 45 minutes of waiting we overheard the manager (who was the only one who seemed to have a clue) chastise a host for giving away our table to someone else. At that point, I went onto Open Table and booked a reservation for 7:00pm. When I then checked in with one of the hosts, he seemed annoyed that I had booked something. Thanks to the reservation, we were finally seated about 7:05pm. Once we were seated, we were surrounded by open tables. Our server took 5 minutes to come get drink orders then took another 15 minutes to bring us our drinks and take our food orders. Our appetizer took about 10 minutes and then the mains took about 20 minutes, which was reasonable. The food was great -- probably the highlight of the visit, along with the manager (in a hot pink shirt), who came to check on us and brought us waters -- but our server could not have moved more slowly or cared less. We were so disappointed because the restaurant came highly recommended by family. If you go, make sure you have a reservation and give yourself at least 90 minutes for the meal.

Great food, service, atmosphere. This is one of our favorite restaurants to go for family dinners.

My friend and I enjoyed happy hour on the patio. It was very pleasant and the food was great.

Wonderful service, terrific food. A tad richer than ideal but it's tasty. Wonderful neighborhood place.

Our salads got the meal off to a tasty start. Each entree was delicious and well-prepared. The dessert sundae was a nice finish for our granddaughter's birthday dinner.
