nice place, very cozy!
Blackberry scone was lush and my tea with fresh mint leaves was fantastic!
Best pistachio latte and chocolate almond croissant
Cracked cup. watery espresso & a self-important barista. Hmm. Then more senior staff person attempted to ameliorate by offering a free coffee coupon which was nice but too late. They should focus more on customer service & the quality of each and every coffee.
For the love of God, MAKE MORE SCONES! They are delicious and I can't imagine the amount of revenue you're leaving on the table. At this point, they are sold out more than they are available. #frustratedcustomer
Love this place for danishes and coffee and tea!
My favorite go to!
The coffee is really good and the Moroccan flavors are excellent. I’ve only been twice, but they seem to have a large selection of drinks. The types of food are typical of a cafe: pastries and breakfast sandwiches. They taste good.
The actual atmosphere of cafe could be improved, it has “college on campus coffee shop” vibes more than Moroccan cafe vibes. Regardless, the coffee is great.
Had a horrible experience with Grace. Ordered a london fog with oat milk(which i always do, the staff know me and my friends for ordering this drink.) I received it with no milk and I could tell there was no milk it in and asked why and she said the drink didn’t come with any but I was confused as to why because I ordered it specifically with it?? My friend then went up and talked with our regular girl and fixed it for me. Last week I waited over 30 mins for a sandwich. Service has not been good recently
I really like their coffee and other locations are better but 2 things. Service was poor - and that no dogs thing, that's actually a law. Person came in carrying a wet dog, wiped it all over the counter while the employee lost her mind going nuts loving what I can only assume was the first dog she'd ever seen. 2nd. This place desperately needs sound absorbing materials on the walls. It's a cement box echo chambers and loud with just a few people in it, which causes a chain reaction as people scream to be heard. It is impossible to have a calm conversation with the friends at your table

I thought the snack I bought was great. The drink was above average but nothing special. I didn’t really want to stay , but maybe next time!!

Ovation is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to! There are a few locations in the Portland area. Each one is slightly different, but the menu is the same. Everything is very well made and tastes delicious. They have some unique menu items, and I would suggest trying them all!
If you love good coffee and great people, this is the spot for you!

The coffee here is a salve, a heavenly little splurge of creamy, spicy coffee done right. Good beans, good brewing, and a sublime blend of Moroccan spices set Ovation apart from so many competitors. I'm charmed by the quality of the always friendly service. Don't miss the pistachio latte!

August 24, 9:55am Lake Oswego location. I waited 5 minutes for my latte because the worker was talking to another customer about their pets. «So cute.»
