This place always warms my soul. I've never had anything I didn't love. We always take family from out of town here. We got lucky one day and we're able to chat with the owner about his food. You can tell he really puts his heart into what he's feeding people. Sure, they're out of items sometimes but, it's bbq, people. Show up early on a Friday and treat yourself to the best pastrami sandwich you've ever had!
First timer and tried the loaded Chopped Chicken Sandwhich with the White Cheddar Mac N Cheese which was excellent! Bun was good, chicken was not dry, just enough sauce & side was tasty. Side of pickles was a perfect touch. I met Will who took my order and he was a kind, helpful man. The space is beautifully landscaped. There are tables in the open (patio style) as well as covered space with tables. I will definitely come back and would hire them to cater for my next event!...
I work nearby and often come to this place for lunch. I love the 'atmosphere' - the hosts, the clientelle, the firepit on the patio, the American country music in the background - it all (plus a pint of IPA) helps me get through the rest of the day. It's not a fancy place for a fancy dining experience, but it has its own charm of simple American traditions.
