Our sever Emanual was friendly and did avery good job. We’ve been looking for a place like this - classic Mexican with good food and service - for a while and knew we found it! We will definitely be back!

Nothing outstanding about my meal, which was enchiladas. Rice was a bit disappointing. Steak street tacos were good, loaded with tender steak. Atmosphere was noisy. Probably best to sit in the bar if you can.

Our family went here for dinner and it was fantastic food. I had a simple Pollo Asada and it was probably the best I've had in a long time. The refried beans was amazing and could tell there was an element of pork fat involved. Superb beans!!!
If you're in the area, I highly suggest giving this place a try and this place is quite large and can accommodate very large crowds.
My drink that I had was a mango martini and I just must go back tomorrow for another one.

Tried this out with our friends and we loved it. One of the better Mexican restaurants we’ve been to. Not sure why it isn’t rated better. We tried their tacos, a combo plate with enchiladas and tamales and a burrito. We all liked our food. Service was very quick and friendly. I really like their menu. Different from most places because they have it separated by different regions of Mexico, northern, central, southern, etc. so you can try different styles of food from different regions. I’ll be coming back.

we weren’t expecting the food to be so excellent it’s by far the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. The tortillas were wonderful and homemade and the Carne Asada was awesome. They make guacamole at your table. Our new favorite place❣️

Restaurantji Recommends
I gave this restaurant a mid-range score because: 1. The noise level in the dining room is terrible. We were there at 5:00 pm, not even the busiest time and we could not hear each other talk. Who wants to go out to dinner and not hear your friends or family. The noise was not from loud music, but from other diners. There are no walls/half-walls or dividers to help reduce the noise. 2. We charged our dinner and without any “heads-up” we were charged 3.6% surcharge for using our credit card! The entrees, drinks and dinners are not inexpensive, so charging that amount in a surcharge seems excessive! The federal law allows 4%, so this restaurant in the suburbs of Portland, almost hits the maximum allowed! 3. Drink prices are excessive; alcoholic or nonalcoholic. Stick with water! Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed in our dinner experience and do not recommend “Si Senor”. We will not return!

Gotta’ admit, I miss Corona. Granted, I only went there once or twice a year. But it was the faux-festive sort of place that served large portions of ‘American’ Mexican food and had employees that greeted and served you with a smile. It certainly had its niche in the LO food scene.
Si Senor feels like it is going for a slightly more upscale version of the same sorts of faux tendencies, with similar portions, better flavors profiles, and a slightly higher price point. The water features, the high ceilings, the homemade tortilla station . . . these all speak to selling a version of Mexican food that feels somehow more authentic, even if it isn’t really (the nods to the regions of Mexico on the wooden menus is, though, a nice way to categorize the food options).
The salsa and hot bean dip with your chips is a nice starter, even if the latter seem to be lacking in a bit of salt and the both of the former are somewhat blandly seasoned. The assorted combo platers come with your usual spread of rice, cheese, salsa/lettuce, guac, sour cream, and beans on garishly colorful and over-sized platers. Fajitas are well-portioned, with the carnitas having nice flavor and the slice of lime being a nice addition. The mole has a deeper color and slightly more nuanced favors than other places like this. One gripe? If you get a dish with tortillas on the side, you only get two (not three, or perhaps four), though both corn and flour versions have a nice chew.
Service? Pretty good (and we were there on a busy Friday night). We were immediately greeted by the host. Our group of eight was fairly quickly seated. Our server was efficient and kept checking on us, bring us refills, and was prompt clearing plates. There was a bit of a lag getting our bill. Then again, like I said, it was a busy night.
It seems as if some of the negative criticisms—slow and rude service namely—have been addressed as this relatively new restaurant has worked out the kinks over the opening months.
While I miss Corona, I am glad to welcome Si Senor to the LO area. I will be back. Solidly four stars.

Cool atmosphere and the decor was nice but service sucked! Emmanuel (our server) was rude and sexist. The food looked good but it lacked flavored. I've never had bland carne asada before tonight's meal. The margaritas were also weak and the spicy margarita tasted absolutely disgusting.
