Very kind staff. Thanks for all you do in providing a great service!
Dale, the bartender is very nice. I cld first, and his warmth brought me in. I just wanted to check out The place. Lake is drained unfortunately so sat at bar. Was a good choice. Thx!
Stay away from the mac and cheese! Ordered their signature mack and cheese with Salmon and was really disappointed. I am almost positive the mac and cheese was Kraft. There were rimanents of the cheese powder that you get with a box of Kraft still visible. The consistency was almost like a soup with a peice of salmon laid on the top. When is the last time you had mac and cheese soup? The Salmon was also dry. For $32 bucks, I expected a lot more.
I don’t like leave bad reviews but the lunch I had at stickmen today, was by far the worst ! The wings were dry and salty, veggies were not fresh by any means, and the burger was tasteless and dry. The prices were simply not worth it.I don’t really have a positive point to mention.
We had family visiting Oregon for the first time ever - thought it would be a nice to have dinner by the lake. Wrong. Knowing service can be on the slow side, we have had in the past here, we ordered our food with our drinks. The order was never placed- cut to an hour and 25 minutes later, still no food. If you want to be in and out of somewhere within 2/2.5 hours, choose another spot. I am not a complainer, but this review was warranted. Never again.
Food was subpar. Beer was meh. The worst part was being charged twice for beer and not being believed. We bought a round at the outdoor bar while waiting for our table, which we closed out of once we were told we had a table and yet they still charged us for two rounds at the table as well. Not really a place we’ll be coming back to for staff meetings. Also should point out for a table of four with four beers and two plates it took two hours….on a Monday.
The beer was normal. The food was just ok, little pricy for the quality. The service was good! Nice environment with the lake view.
It is a little hidden off the street, but, has a great location right on Lakewood Bay beside the dock. It was a weekday and a little slow when we arrived. Had a choice of anything seat on the patio. I`m sure on the weekend it would be packed. We had the fish and chips and the pulled pork sandwich along . The fish was fresh , although a little overcooked. The pulled pork was very good, however, they need to work on the dressing for the slaw. The star of the show was a wait staff named Alissa. There was a couple a few tables over that had been waiting over an hour for their meals. I overheard that during the staff changeover from lunch shift to the mid afternoon shift the 1st wait staff member forgot to put in the food order before he clocked out. There were people who came after us, had a drink lunch and departed, and they still hadn`t received their order. The couple retirement age weren`t happy , but, were very composed. Alissa came by, reassured them that it was being prepared immediately and it was on the house. For her efforts I gave Stickmen a 4 instead of a 3.

The setting is lovely, but the food is really disappointing. My friend ordered seasonal, roasted veggies and got a plate of steamed broccoli (not seasonal in summer). My Asian chicken salad was not very good. We all liked the crispy fries though. We didn't try the beer, but my spicy paloma cocktail was not tasty. They serve water in little plastic kiddy cups and we only got 2 of those for 3 people, even after I asked for another. I wonder if this is meant to be just a nice setting for just drinking beer.

Consistently, one of the worst restaurant experiences in Lake Oswego. The lakefront location makes this place appealing, but this restaurant is clearly mismanaged. A disorganized and aloof staff doesn’t help. If you simply want to order a beer and food, good luck getting someone to take your order. At least you can enjoy a view of the Lake while you wait!
Poor service and reduced menu. Many servers are spaced out and uninterested. The bartender was the only one seemingly working hard. This place used to be decent, but no longer.
Only 2 of the about 8 tables on the lake were occupied, no one was waiting, but we were told repeatedly that "company policy" didn't allow for seating at any of the numerous open tables. No attempt was made to explain the policy. The same thing had happened to me before when we were only trying to go to the bar (sort of understandable), but this time we were trying to sit (and spend money) at the restaurant but got the same "company policy" line. If there is a reason most of the lakeside tables must remain empty, it would be good to let the staff know and let them explain it. Being short staffed doesn't make any sense because we were allowed to sit at the nearby-but-not-lakeside outdoor tables with bar stools that are too tall for people's legs to touch the ground. Really baffling experience. I share the frustration of the other reviewers; it could be such a nice place.I'm kind of dying of curiosity: those who got tables outside, how did you do it?
We have been waiting for 2 hours to get our food and still waiting! Definitely hangry writing this but feed your people when they order, my lord! Waitress was great, management (meh)!
Revised 06/09 & 06/10-Well that did not last very long! How quickly it went back to the unorganized, horrible food and bad service. My husband and I was hoping that it was just a bad day they had but it turned out to be the same experience that we had in the past and the reason we stopped going in to Stickmens. The server we had on Saturday was probably the worst one we have had. I think she said her name was NIkki or Nicole, she forgot our drink order not once but twice and when we finally was able to order some food 20mins after we got our drinks, and then another 25 mins later they come out and told us that they are out of one of the items. Had to change our order and that took another 25 mins. By the time we eat it was 2 hours and the food was awful. We didn't see 1 server or bartender that we knew. They need to quit building new location and focus on the ones they have. Spending our money on bad food and bad service, NEVER AGAIN Mr. Stickmen!First Review:My husband and I have been coming here for 10yrs. We have seen employees and managers come and go. We have had our favorites and some that we wouldn’t stop in because they were working. Never really liked the food, we love the view and the Bees Knee beer. However, about 1 months ago we stopped in to have a beer before dinner. We decided to have something to eat since there was all new employees and management. What the heck, will give it a try again. Mr. Stickmen, you finally got it right! They had a special’s menu that night and try that. We started with the whipped feta appetizer, sounds funny but it was really good. It had chopped tomato and garlic on whipped feta. My husband had the prime rib sandwich and I had pastrami sliders. We both were shocked. Everything was really good. Now the reason for the post, we decided again to stop in for a beer and dinner. See if it wasn’t just a 1 time deal with the food. Happy to say that it wasn’t. I ordered from the menu and had the brisket and husband had the nachos. Both were good. Mr. Stickmen finally found a good one. When we were leaving, I stopped and talked to who I think was the manager, she has been there every time we have recently and told her how much we liked our last couple of dinners and glad to see the change that is happening. She was genuinely thankful for given Stickmens another try. It’s been our twice a week dinner spot and they still haven’t disappointed us.
