Great food and staff. Very basic and simple eating area. Jefe burrito is two meals. The California burrito is too simplistic. Needs avocado and or sour cream in it.

As a SoCal native living in the beautiful PNW, I would be lying if I said I didn't miss great Mexican food. Thank goodness I've found the wonderful folks at Taqueria la Marquesa!! Tortilla? Bomb. Rice? Bomb. Beans? Bomb. Salsas? Bomb. I can go on, but check it out for yourself. Super friendly staff, great chefs. I got the rice, cheese, and bean burrito. Added some sour cream, jalapenos, and french fries. Tried all their salsas, as well as my husband's Loco Burrito. Everything was delicious. We were in heaven! At ten weeks pregnant, I needed this! ?

Great family owned business. Consistent food, great tortas. Outstanding friendly service. Some of the meats are better than others- the chorizo and pastor have much better flavor and texture than the chicken and carnitas. The street tacos are good in the authentic style with just cilantro, onion, and lime.I would recommended this restaurant.

This place is absolutely unbelievable. I grew up in the central valley in California. We had great mexican food. This place blows it all out of the water. I legitimately get excited about coming here every time I go for lunch. And I leave so happy. Its hard to describe how great the food here is. I love the tacos - - the carne asda and al pastor are unreal. I don't know what I would do without Taqueria la Marquesa. It's that good. And the people are super nice too. Its a remnant of home for me. Thanks TLM. You're the best mexican restaurant in Oregon in my opinion.

Excellent food! Everything was delicious and the habanero sauce was a favorite for my husband. The pork was perfect on his burrito bowl. The burrito was packed full in every bite. Excellent tender shredded chicken along with a little spicy homemade red sauce. It was balanced and I couldn’t finish it, as I was too full. The drinks are great! Recommend a refreshingly cold hibiscus tea or Sangria soda. Yes, a sangria soda that tastes just like it sounds. We went during lunch and got our meals super quick as a walk in. They pump out delicious, fresh food in no time. Definitely recommend if you are craving Mexican in LO.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options are a win here! Husband is allergic and had no issues!

Such a pleasant surprise. My son found this place and so glad he did. Enchiladas are delicious and highly recommend. The gal at the counter who took our order gave top notch customer service. She made the experience that much better and it was noticed by everyone in our group.

The food is outstanding, legit Mexican food with novel creativity in their burritos, especially. The dining room is clean and bright - and just a few items of decor and painted designs away from being ‘a trip south of the border’.

This is terrific Mexican food in Lake Oswego. Authentic taste, cooked right, generous portions. I had the 4 rolled chicken tacos (they include plenty of salad too). Very crispy and fresh. I brought the take-out home and had to keep pushing the cat away. But I gave him some chicken at the last.

So happy to have my husband introduce me to this small local Taqueria. Convenient, friendly and excellent food. Everything is made AFTER you place your order and it's fresh! Unfortunately Or fortunately this taqueria is located a few doors down from our gym, which makes it easy to stop on on those nights we don't feel like cooking. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. While small in size, there are a few seats to eat in, but it seems like most (often us too) order to go. The food is excellent! While it's been hard to find local taquerias of good quality - we found one here! FINALLY! Hooray. The tacos, burritos and nachos are all excellent choices (based on our orders to date). We have not been disappointed in anything. Absolutely we will continue to frequent this small restaurant without hesitation. Recommendation: stop in and get your Mexican food fix!!

The exact thing you're looking for if you're looking for an authentic meal. Not the Americanized Mexican meal. The tacos we had were very nice, 3-5 bite double corn tortilla tacos with with cilantro, onion and a few salsas to pick from. Carne asada was our favorite. Had chips and guac also and the guac was very fresh, not the American Lemon Zesty guac. Price was $2.75-$3/taco. Amazingly cheap relative to the dressed up $6 taco with spicy mayo on top of it that is the norm at most places. Can't wait to come back to try the Cali Burrito and more things. The ambiance is also somewhat authentic. It's not the LO high end. It doesn't need to be. The food speaks. I'll take food speaking over lighting and art any day.
