Nice quiet spot
Great service, great food, great prices
We had the lemongrass chicken pad Thai and the pineapple curry. Deliciousness to say the least!
My family absolutely loves Thai Basil. The food is amazing, the staff is incredibly kind. I always get the yellow curry and tofu (which is my favorite)
My favorite Thai restaurant in all of Bend!
Pros:
-No annoying radio music, just smooth jazz/bossa-nova.
-Service was good, people were nice.
Cons:
-Very boring taste, was similar to curry I’ve had made by family (who aren’t Thai or skilled at making Thai food.)
-Outdated atmosphere. Very 2000s.
-Asked for a side chili oil because I wasn’t satisfied with the flavor, got a squeeze bottle of sriracha (not house-made, obviously).
-Calamari was way too chewy. More than it should be.
-Price does not reflect the quality. I was charged for the side of rice that comes standard with curry…
We each ordered a bowl tom kha soup. Then my husband ordered Lemon Grass chicken Phad thai. He ordered it because he had never seen it on a thai menu. It was the best phad thai he ever had. I ordered the Crunchy Cashew with chicken. It's a large helping, and I ate all of it. We have been gone from the northwest for almost a year. We have missed good thai, and this was some of the best we have ever had. I tried to get their peanut sauce recipe. It was delicious!
The chicken pad Thai was super bland and had way too much MSG. An unfortunate waste of money that won’t be repeated. The guy at the counter was super nice. Too bad the food was awful.
Great service and yummy panang curry. Really a great spot to visit old friends.
I used to really love Thai Basil but last time I was disappointed. Their chicken pad Thai was rubbery, bland and had a burnt taste like it had been sitting for a long time.
Did takeout. Very good Pad Thai and Drunken noodles! Worth a visit!

Ordered a vegetarian Thai basil fried rice with soft tofu and was pretty good. It was as spicy as I thought it would be. It said spicy on the menu, not really though. Great staff and quick service.
A delightful experience. The service was exceptional for a very large group.
Food taste was very bad. It was nothing like Thai food.
We had a great experience. We had some food allergies and they were so sweet when checking on items we had questions about. Food came quickly and was very good.
Great food, but the staff is the best, great lunch spot, Pad Thai is the best in the area
