Chose this place to meet daughter and grandkids because it's halfway between where we each live. Didn't know what to expect but it was lovely. Hot spring nice and warm, clean comfy room, dinner was fantastic! The service was excellent. Really loved our stay Will definitely be back.

Lake County offers an inspiring blend of urban sophistication and rural calm. Visit the Neon Cowboy to delight in a savory meal, revitalize in the therapeutic hot springs, and consider staying overnight to fully immerse yourself in the local culture. During my trips to the Neon Cowboy, I always make it a point to savor their delicious Fettuccine Alfredo, a pasta dish that never fails to impress. I accompany it with a drink or two that reflects my cultural identity. I appreciated the staff at Neon Cowboy for going the extra mile to create a new drink, since I was pleased to find out about their new and improved Mezcal and Tequila selection. Rather than going into specifics, I could tell you all about my different experiences at the Neon Cowboy, but instead I invite you to explore the photos below and discover the experience for yourself.

Nearby activities: Warner Ski Mountain is only a few miles away.

Safety: Safety is not an issue at this place.

Food and drinks: Delicious Steak House Menu and newly restocked bar.

Noteworthy details: The Neon Cowboy is just a few miles out of the town of Lakeview and is home to Old Perpetual, one of Lake County’s existing Hot Springs.

The Neon Cowboy is a truly unique experience in all of eastern Oregon. There is just nothing else like it. They have a hotel, restaurant, bar, and a hot spring all in one location. We came here for a group event exploring eastern Oregon, and the Neon Cowboy was a definite highlight of our trip. The hotel is a bit quirky, the restaurant may be short handed at times, but absolutely none of that mattered when you meet the staff and see how hard they work to offer up such a unique experience. Our group was pretty large, and we probably overwhelmed them at times, but some of my best memories of our group trip are tied to the Neon Cowboy. My only regret is not spending an extra day there to enjoy the hot springs more and explore more around Lakeview, OR.

You can drive 200 miles from Lakeview, OR and you will not find anything comparable to the Neon Cowboy, nor staff so dedicated.

Noteworthy details: Be sure and check out the hot springs and the geyser. WiFi was fine, but seriously put down your phone and enjoy everything that surrounds you.

This place is charming and we enjoyed our stay! Rooms are comfortable and clean! We brought our pup and there is a nice field they can play in. There is an awesome game room that was fun to hang out in and have a drink before dinner. Dinner was great- steak perfectly cooked and my burger was full of flavor.

And of course the hot springs was the best! Perfect temperature 104ish, and clean! We had the place to ourselves. Highly recommend staying here on your way through!

First time was delicious. Second time service was horrible. Had a big group of out of towners with use it was horrible. Third call the phone number on google took forever for someone to answer was told that was lobby and gave me another number to call and they answered saying the phone transferred to him and he would give the restaurant my number so I can place my order( never received a call back. Needless to say third time was not a charm and I will not be back.

They are renovating back to its former glory. They have a long way to go. Have to come back when they are done.

Food & drinks: Not a big selection on a weekday. The weekend menu was bigger. The food was good and portions were large.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for years and it is awesome to see the progress. The newly remodeled rooms are so comfortable and the revamped restaurant with game room is great!

The food is SO bomb! Best in Lakeview. Prime rib is perfectly cooked and so juicy. But my favorite is the pork plate ??? And the servings are big! I'll keep coming back and looking forward to all the new projects underway... Looks like the outdoor patio is coming soon... ?

Rooms: Super comfy beds!! Love the new remodel

Nearby activities: Soaking pool... Hiking... Mountain biking... Amazing start gazing, petroglyphs, rock hounding, river basking in the summer, even a winter ski hill ? this is a pretty neato place

Food & drinks: Food is delicious! Small menu but good variety. Quality ingredients and cooked to perfection.

This is the definition of a diamond in the rough. There is a mineral pool (covered in algea. Been in alot of hot springs and this was the first that was covered in algea) and there is a geyser you can see from your table and you can walk within 20 yards of it. They were so nice. We booked a double queen and for some reason our room was given away. Micheal comped us another room as all the double rooms were booked. The restaurant stayed open for us when we showed up late and the food was great. Prime rib 😋. Woke up to Ole Perptiual going off. Then there are the bad parts. Lakeview is a ghetto. If you google Lakeview and see "things to offer" it just says "something went wrong" lol. There is nothing going on. No places to explore, eat or anything. We were in Plush looking for sunstones about an hour away. We drove around to find some pastries or breakfast the next morning and there is nothing. The Neon Cowboy is definitely showing its age but it's got a cool vibe without doubt. It's showing that they are putting in the effort to bring it back. It definitely has some charm deep down. I think....infact me and the wife talked about (while we were sliding around trying to get out of the algea pool) how that place could be a Hotspot if they are able to renovate and offer some more to their guests. Mini golf, karaoke, Saturday night live music or something. I was hoping the place would be hopping being a bar and saterday night but it was not. However, if they continue to offer the level of service that they offered us and continue to renovate I could see it being a great spot. But unfortunately like I pointed out earlier the town and towns around it have nothing to offer people so it's going to be a struggle to bring people in.

Rooms: The newly renovated rooms had a vintage theme. Newer retro looking fridge pretty much. Decent TV and mini split AC unit. Ok bed and tile bathroom. Small personal coffee maker with an assortment of coffeemate creamers and sugars. We got to stay in one of the older rooms and it's a night and day between the two. Maybe alittle overpriced but considering you have a hot spring and a geyser, with a bar and restaurant attached it's probably about right.

Hidden Treasure. Loved the staff. They were very understanding when we were running late. We were still able to enjoy the restaurant and hotspring pool. Food was perfect. Loved that it is not packed at this location. Things to see all over like watching a geysers while eating dinner, soaking under the stars, and enjoying the nature all around. Great vibe.
