I really wasn't expecting much when I stepped into Salishack. From the outside, it had all the hallmarks of a dive bar. To be fair, with the exception of good lighting, the interior did, too. Nevertheless, expectations were bucked almost immediately with the friendly, welcoming nature of the bartender, who did not begrudge the new face in the locals' hangout. I was given good, prompt service, and a meal that was way better than it had any business being, considering the situation (8pm on a Tuesday night). Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised they were still serving hot food. So the flavorful, generous, and innovative presentation of their teriyaki chicken bowl was a wonderful departure from my grin-and-bear-it expectations. Great place good people

My husband and I made a last minute decision to stay the night in the coast Halloween night, we were hungry when we checked into our hotel so we searched for a nearby place that wasn't closing too soon. We got quick and friendly service, there were a lot of people having a ton of fun, we even got up and joined everyone in dancing for a song. There were a few games available and we played a game of cribbage while we enjoyed our absolutely delicious burgers. Worthwhile, I definitely recommend.

Food was great! Won a little $$ playing video lottery. Burger I had was spot on and the fries were exceptionally good. Would definitely go back and definitely recommend you go!

10/10 recommend. Food was excellent, bartender was kind and fabulous. Didn't have to wait long for our food. You get to meet some fun and easy going locals! Fenced in yard for fur babies, plenty of out door seating.

A hidden local roadside joint hidden from the 101 which lends itself to be frequented by regular locals or in the know visitors. I had a burger which was pretty good. It's the type of place that flirts with being a dive but is a little nicer than that.
