My husband says he hasn't had fish and chips this good since he left Scotland. The chicken tenderloin strips were huge and juicy.

Ended 2023 with Linner (lunch/dinner) at Squatchsami (eating in the Outpost). Wonderful Lingcod Fish and Chips and WORLD CLASS Clam Chowder (and got some Chicken for later). Oh, and they have Ice Cream and Cookies and other treats in the Outpost. Good People running it as well. Debbie is a kick and Ken cooks like a mad man (but loves it). Best to order online to make sure they have not sold out. They often do.

This is the first time in my life I'd eaten chicken and waffles. It was excellent! The chicken breast had been flattened out. Easy to cut. It covered the whole waffle. Waffle was perfect. Maple syrup on the side. You order outside and go inside their coffee shop to eat. Lots of seating by large windows overlooking the golf course. Lots of birds to see. I'll go back again for sure.Vegetarian options: Fries, waffles and salads. Maybe more options.Parking: Two parking areas. One by the food cart on the side and another one the front.Kid-friendliness: Room for kids to roam around.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking. Storefront is accessable. The complex has a women's restroom with a large stall. I didn't look at it to see if it had handrails.

Awesome service! We tried the fish and chips (rosemary fries), a waffle, plus the family size chowder. Everything was delicious. They checked on our group outside and even brought out cookies for our kiddos.

Highly recommend checking out this lovely food truck! Owner is so unbelievably sweet and welcoming! We got the fish and chips (halibut and upgraded to rosemary fries) and chowder! The best way to describe the batter on the fish is light and smooth! Every bite almost melts in your mouth. So many places are dripping in oil with every bite, but not their fish! It was so tasty! The chowder was very flavorful and super creamy! Can’t wait to go back and try out more goodies! A must try! Very reasonably priced as well which is a bonus! Highly recommended checking out this wonderful truck!

Wow! The reviews are true, some of the best fish & chips and the chicken tenders were awesome. I've had fish & chips all over, and these were perfect. Crispy light outside and the halibut was flaky and juicy inside. We visited at the end of the tourist off season and service was friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back and try the clam chowder as well!

The chowder - Forgetaboutit! Amazing. Thick and creamy and FULL of clams. Absolutely incredible. The halibut (fish and chips) and fried chicken - just like everyone else has said - is amazing. Food trucks don't get enough credit and this truck (coming fromSomeone who lives in Austin TX - basically ground zero for food trucks) is as GOOD as it gets!

My husband and I found this place 2 years ago and keep coming back. The people are so friendly, the food is sooooo good and if you stay at the salishan, SO convenient. This time, we both had fish and chips and shared a clam chowder. The chowder is flavorful and creamy, and the fish is fresh, super crispy and not too oily. We will keep coming back as long as you are around!Kid-friendliness: It’s outdoors, so super easy to wheel up a stroller and space for them to toddle around in the shopping center.

The fabulous reviews were spot on. I had to try the halibut fish and chips. Chowder and slaw were extra, but wanted to give all a go. Fair warning, the halibut pieces are very generous. I got three, two would have been plenty. I would say they were close to 3 or 4 oz. each. Superior fresh tasting, being that the fish locally sourced. Chowder was thick and full of potatoes and clams. And last but certainly not least, the cole slaw was a pleasant surprise! Most Cole slaw is dry and unflavorful. Not this one. Smooth and creamy with hint of lemon as an after taste. Wonderful!

Tried this place on a recommendation from a friend. It was easy to locate on 101 and there is ample parking. We arrived on a Sunday and there was a little market going on in the parking lot so that was nice to browse through while we waited for our food. The staff at the food truck are so friendly and really go out of their way to make sure you are getting what you want and will enjoy. I ordered the halibut fish and chips and a waffle with bacon butter. The fish was great, loved their batter. The highlight was the tarter sauce for sure. I could have had just that with a straw and would have been happy. The waffle was good and the bacon butter kicked it up a notch. I did not order a dessert but my friends did and said it was delicious. As this is a food truck seating was outside. There was an indoor area to sit but it turned out it was locked so outside it was. Fortunately it was a nice day at the coast. I would absolutely eat here again if in the area!

This place is just beyond. Incredible fish and chips (rosemary fries for the win!), the chowder is BOMB (some of the best I’ve had on the coast), and the salads were yummy as well. My family loves our seafood and we were drooling over Squatchsami. My dad said “this is the best fried fish I’ve ever had.” And they have such a fun option to sit indoors, or sit next door and grab a beer at Beachcrest brewery. Such kind people too. We will most definitely be back on our next trip to the coast!
