Food is amazing. 100% place to stop by
Food is always fantastic!
I got the la Florida Panini and it was delicious! Tender tangy chicken. Got 2 meals out of it! Love the coleslaw and the plantain chips were out of this world!
La Wawa is THE BEST food truck in Lincoln City. I'm not saying this to be rude to the other excellent options we have, but La Wawa is the bomb. They get the food out fast, and it is DELICIOUS.

So refreshing to have Caribbean food on the Oregon Coast. I get pretty sick of burgers and fish and chips. The food here hit the spot. If you are in Lincoln City, check out La wa wa!

La Wawa Puerto Rican Soul Food - Lincoln City, OR
Driving on the way back from Newport, OR to Seaside, OR .. we were hoping to find a spot for some great vegan food. A quick Google search and we landed upon a perfect option, La Wawa Puerto Rican Soul Food. When looking up their menu we were thrilled to see, not just items that could probably be accidentally vegan ... no no, they have a full on Vegan Plate listed in their menu! In addition to including a picture of the actual food we received, I've also included a picture of the Vegan Plate as listed directly on their website.
For your plate, you get some typical staples of slaw, rice, beans, maduros and tostones, each item seemed perfectly spiced and flavored and the respective textures were spot on as well. We actually ordered a separate side of tostones to hold us for the drive back (waiting until back in the room before wolfing down for the Vegan Plate).
So, one word of caution ~~ blink and you'll miss them ~~ especially if driving at night as they are based out of a food truck. Whatever listing we found for them when Googling, we failed to take notice of their business model being a food truck model as opposed to a brick and mortar location. They are right on south side of Highway 101 so they're easy to find so long as you're using Google Maps or Waze and mindful that you're looking for a food truck.
There's a lot of options in the North Oregon Coast, some accidentally vegan, some specifically labelled vegan, Pizza, Thai, Sushi, etc ... all great options. The Puerto Rican food was something we found to be a bit unique for the area. So if you're looking for something just a bit different than the norm, along with the comfort of knowing you're eating a vegan dish ... you need to drop on by and show them some appreciation!
Vegetarian options: I love the fact that they have a Vegan Plate ready to order on their menu!

I came here with my brother and his girlfriend on Halloween. It was pouring down rain, and the owner immediately offered us some hot chocolate as a Halloween treat! He even offered bringing the food to our car so we wouldn't continue getting rained on. We just had to come back the following day. My personal favorite was the papa rellenas with the housemade vinegar. In the photo (from left to right) was the combo plate of rice, pork chops, slaw. The second dish was the papa rellenas (so good!). The third plate was a combo of pork chops, rice, and tostone. I would recommend it if you're curious about Puerto Rican food!! Not included in the photo was a combo of pork belly. That was also very good and extra crispy.

Came here with my family on a whim and gotta say was thoroughly impressed. They deserve more recognition honestly and the food was tasty. The owner even offered to bring out the food to our car even though it was pouring rain. On top of that free hot cocoa to celebrate Halloween. What more can you ask from a business that gives you hospitality, great service, and good food.

This Food Cart was a wonderfully unexpected burst of flavor in Lincoln City. Don't let the gravel parking lot deter you from trying them out. Large serving for the price.

stopped on the way home from camping to grab a quick lunch plate thinking I would let it cool down a bit and eat it on the road, but it smelled and looked soooooo good… had to sit there in the parking lot and devour it!! Wildly delicious!
