There was barely anybody in the restaurant we had to wait for a table when there was tables open we get seated it takes literally 30 minutes for the lady to come to us then they don't have razor clams they don't have glasses of wine and then when you go to pay they ask you for your ID when you pay with your card what the heck is going on here this place sucks one of the worst experiences I have ever had in this restaurant never coming back used to go here all the time

The atmosphere was not relaxing. I did not feel welcomed. But I'm used to that and was expecting a bit more in a "Steakhouse". It's that by name, I think. I ordered the 6oz Filet, and for $65, I was hoping for a good steak. I'm used to getting a descent 8oz for $45. Anyhow, this meat was very salty. When the waitperson asked, I told her it was very salty, otherwise OK. I didn't taste the garlic in the mash either. The beans were tasty, and so was the bleu cheese butter on the meat.

Good but expensive.
Great, quick service. The ribs with fries with great. Side sauce was good too. Wife enjoyed her black bean burger and wine as well. Excellent view from the window seats.

Nice restaurant with a view of the Pacific ocean, excellent food, I had the ribeye steak, it was cooked exactly the way I wanted it.

Same crap different day. The fillet was over done a and potato was ok but was told it had "the works" when I have an expectation that would mean more than basic butter and sour cream. Fillet w/garlic blue cheese and that was blah. $65 for 6oz and lobster added $50 medium sized but very stringy and tuff to cut. VERY DISAPPOINTED ? Spend $115 per dinner when I can go to Kyllos for almost half the cost and it was so far superior I will never spend the money at Rouge River Steakhouse again.

Stood at the front for about 5 mins before anyone acknowledged me & said they would seat me soon (not busy at all on a Tuesday evening) & the food is SUPER bland , veggies tasted half way cooked, & I swear they microwave the rice. Literally giving hospital food

We tried to eat here while on vacation.
Nobody was at the front desk to seat us, only a couple tables were in use. I never saw any employees beyond the bartender who didn't acknowledge us either. Even the service robot just sat there blinking at us.
We waited maybe 10 minutes (probably less) but eventually gave up and found somewhere else to spend our money.

The food was either so bland. Or so spicy. The avocado ranch they put on the burgers is HORRIBLE. The fries have no flavor. And the shrimp is WAY over cooked and over seasoned. Over priced for such lack luster food. If you are visiting the coast do not waste your time here

We chose this restaurant because we wanted something a little more upscale. Were told 20 minute wait and waited 35. When we got to our table there were plenty of empty tables the hostess explained a lot of people just left but we had been waiting right by the only exit and we counted 1 group that left. Not a huge deal but honesty would be nice. My wife ordered the salmon and I got the elk and salmon special. Server told us it was Alaskan salmon, I've eaten a lot of Alaskan salmon and this tasted like farm raised Atlantic. Not horrible, but again, honesty. My wife's rice pilaf literally tasted like microwave rice from the freezer section at Safeway. Fresh vegetables were horrible. Steamed brussel sprouts, zucchini, onions and peppers. Very bland and left an aftertaste like an old fish bucket. Not sure why veggies would taste like stale fish. Overall it was just meh, definitely not worth $30-$50 per entree.

Location on second floor of the casino. They have salsa dancing. We had a great lunch, the service was great and food cooked to perfection. Beach access nearby.
