The hours need to be adjusted. I needed a last minute gift card and the hours said they are open until 7. I got there at 6:45 only for the woman to unceremoniously tell me that, "We close at six so we can leave at seven." Please adjust the hours so you don't waste people's time.

We spend an average of $300+ per week at Safeway in Lincoln City. We have been shopping there weekly for the past twelve years. I am extremely tired of being screwed by the packaged meats in the butcher department. Last Thursday was the worst. We purchased two Signature Flat Corned Beef Briskets. My husband prepared one today which was $29.00. Half of the brisket was fat. That fat side was, of course, placed in the package so that it was not viewable. This type of issue occurs almost weekly and especially now that every item in the store is twice or more than what it used to cost supposedly due to inflation, it is not acceptable! We will be doing our grocery shopping at Fred Meyer in Newport from here on.

Safeway Starbucks. Service is usually fairly fast. The drink I get 'shaken toasted vanilla oat milk espresso' was not the best - too much vanilla.
There needs to be 100+ stars given to these guys working at the Safeway Starbucks! Even though short staffed they deliver high performance and have gone above and beyond meeting customers wishes and even take the time to fill water cups with as much ice or little we at the Pharmacy want. We appreciate all their hard work.

Went with a friend a few weeks ago and the guy working there was having a bad day as reflected in his attitude. He had 6 customers in line while he took a break to have some coffee and told us baristas need coffee too. After 15 minutes, we left without our coffee. Today, I went early 7:30 to find that he was having another bad day and as such starbucks wasn't open. It is supposed to open at 7:00. A Safeway clerk told me that starbucks would be opening late. After shopping, I saw the same guy getting things ready and I asked him when coffee would be available. He said at least a half an hour. I know finding labor is tough. Clearly hard for starbucks to find responsible people in Lincoln City, Or.
