Great BBQ! Stop in on your way up or down the North Santiam Canyon.

I drove by on Oct. 25, 2017 and this restaurant is closed and the building is for lease.

My boyfriend and I stopped in after a day of hiking. This place has a cozy, small town feel. Although there was only one waitress for a while, she was hustling & we got our food quickly. We both ordered salads & beef barley soup -and were surprised at the large portions. The food was delicious and homemade. We will definitely be back if we're in the area again -recommend to anyone looking for a good, homemade meal.

Make sure and stop by if you are running Hwy 22 between Salem and Bend. Super friendly staff, great comfort food and if you want to sip a IPA or Wine they have a Bar next to the restaurant. Good Eats. On Friday make sure and grab a cup of the Chowder.

The gardens salad was good. The dressing was a little off. We waited for forever for a "hand" crafted pizza which was covered with the wrong toppings and was the same texture as cardboard. Which was disappointing. The people were nice and the service was good, they just need to step up their pizza game.

After a fabulous hike to Jawbone flats and some swimming with my Meetup friends, we stopped at North Fork Crossing for beer and chow. First things first, BEER! They have a good selection of beer so, of course I picked the Pirate Stout from the local brewery. It was a nice thick, dark stout served in a Bud Lite glass. "Here's your Dark Bud Light sir. " I ordered a smoked salmon salad. It was delicious. Also had the G-Tots. Don't know the story of the tots but they were good. They were under staffed this day but our server did a wonderful job.

Stopped for lunch had their bacon burger on a chibata bun what a meal! Complimented the meal with their onion rings which were great. First time in with the new ownership and what a change. Very clean and atmosphere very nice. Service from Nikita was superb as well. No disappointment here highly recommend. Great place to take a break going over the pass.

Was in Portland for vacation and we were at three pools for the day. Left around 4 pm and was starving. This was the first restaurant I found on yelp so we decided to stop. A bystander said this was the best restaurant in that little town and he was right. We ordered margarita pizza, supreme pizza, pesto pasta, and a mushroom burger. Everything was delicious and reasonable pricing. Taking away a star because we had to wait about 45 mins for our food.

Excellent burgers, sandwiches and garlic fries. Stopped by on the way back to the Valley from Detroit Lake. Very accommodating, and served us outside on a beautiful day for lunch. It was a large group and we were able to split the tab at the register with no issues. Wish they considered allowing menus substitutions, even at a price, but what we were served was outstanding! Also, nice big strip of gravel parking along the highway that allowed for multiple RVs or pickups pulling 25+ ft. trailers.

Great food! Good burgers. And awesome beer selection. If you are passing through definitely stop by and grab a bite. Our waitress was super friendly, and was happy to let me try as many beers as I wanted before I settled on space dust! Really great experience!

Decided to try North Fork Crossing for breakfast this morning! We have been here one time previously for a burger which was great. This time husband and I ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy with eggs and split a side of sausage. Gravy was homemade and delicious! Lots of flavor and the biscuits held together without getting soggy. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage was great! This is our new favorite place to get breakfast nearby. Sausage gravy here is my 2nd favorite which is saying alot! Waiter was great and answered our questions and we received our food quickly. We will definitely be back!

So we have been here a couple of time for the burgers and the pizza. The burgers were great no complaints there. The were cooked correctly and had good flavor. They are pricey. The pizza has been ok. The toppings have been good but the pizza has always been undercooked. Im pretty sure they do not make fresh dough. The pizza is very thin like it hasn't had time to rise. Plus there is no thick edges. It is a little pricey. Service is so so.

Everyone in the party enjoyed their food. My order got put in wrong but what I ended up with was still good. Menu has great variety and there's something for everyone. I would probably give it four stars in a different location, but since there aren't many restaurants in this area I think it should be rated as the best!
