Good gingerbread and nice people. It's worth a stop if you're out near Mapleton.
I stopped in for breakfast
after hiking Sweet Creek Falls
but they are not offering a
menu due to staffing issues.
The restaurant is offering
a salad bar with burgers, build your own pizza, chili, clam chowder, and stuffed French Toast.
I reviewed my options with the owner, and she said they
could make a chicken burger
for me.
It took about twenty minutes
for the burger to arrive with
wedge potatoes.
I went to the salad bar to add the fixings to my burger.
The chicken had good taste,
and the potatoes were thick
and a little overcooked.
I reviewed the baked goods
and selected some ginger cookies, a brownie, and a
small gingerbread man.
Located near Mapleton on OR -126 East, about fifteen miles from Florence.
I place to stop for baked goods
made with gingerbread,
friendly service, and a limited
food menu.
I don’t know where to start, place is quirky for sure. The lady helping us was nice, though most of the options she said they had, they didn’t. Smaller selection as they are getting back on their feet, would probably stop again in a few months to see what they have.
It was just wonderful amazing Salad Bar and Wonderful Clam Chowder and all the amazing desserts to choose from. Thank you Ms. Carol it was wonderful to see you.
What an amazing experience. We stopped in to have lunch on our way back home from vacation. Amazing food and wonderful service! Treats are homemade and we couldn't leave with out taking some to go. We will definitely be back.🩷
Rude staff. Dishonest.
Loved it! Kids now find it in top 3 favorite places to visit! Paint a tile and have a piece of history for your family at an enchanted spot! So much fun!
Stopped by for Ginger bread and ice cream...just as good as when I was a kid 😋
Fun place to stop along the way to the beach. Full of homemade food with a sit-down eating area.
Best homemade chips ever, nice atmosphere and great employees experience.

It was awesome! The food was good, everyone was so kind and we got our photo taken there too! Definitely worth stopping there if you haven’t been before.
This place was absolutely wonderful. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the while restaurant seemed to be attentive to our table despite being noticeably busy.
The food is great in general, but the clam chowder is the reason to make the trip from wherever in the PNW you are currently to this small and unassuming roadside diner. I have not had better and fresher tasting clam chowder even in places 50 yards from the ocean.
Very nice spirit in place.
I love this place! The staff was so friendly and the food amazing 👏 🤩 I've been to both the east and west coast in search of the best clam chowder and this place has taken first place! Everything in homemade and I was impressed 👌 😋 the fresh baked cookies were the best and the Christmas theme was adorable! We got to draw on a tile so that we can find it next time and show future generations we were there loved my time here and u will to
I went out to euegene with my grandparent's and on our way home we saw a really nice restaurant where they had great service, really nice people, they had great food, they even brought out a photo album and it was pictures of oregon from one hundred years ago and then they bring out a ceramic tyle so you can make a little family portrait and they keep it there so I'd say it was I great experience and I recommend it 100%
