Stopped at Pappy Gandor & Co with my daughter’s family because we wanted to try something local. We were not disappointed! I didn’t get the server’s name, but she was amazing! She was extremely friendly, helpful, and quick, and handled our group of 5 with ease. She also happened to be the cook! We had burgers and BLTs with fries. All of it was delicious, and oh my goodness the fries!!! I don’t normally eat all of my fries anymore, but at Pappy Gandor’s I wished I had more! As we were leaving my 9 year old grandson declared his burger to be the best he’d ever had!

My Husband and I live in Washington state and drive to Susanville ca. Regularly and this is the only place we eat along the way. The quality of food, wait staff and atmosphere are great. It has always been very clean and neat. We appreciate you! Oh and home made fries are the best.

I came in here with some family to get a quick refill on food and energy after a basketball game, I order some chicken strips and chili cheese fries, and 2 others ordered hashbrowns and omelets, the drinks were good and their food was questionable, my silvaware and cup was dirty, and my food wasn’t very good, I was given 2 chicken strips for 11$, my fries were undercooked, like warm and my cheese was cold. The decoration was iffy, some of the signs are questionable to be in a diner, and inappropriate for kids, the cooks didn’t have hair nets, this place is pretty gross, would not recommend to anyone.

Great breakfast. There were only two people in the whole restaurant one cooking and one waiting tables…we were a large group, and they did a fabulous job keeping our water full, our coffee full… the food was prepared well. We will be back!
