The al pastor, chorizo, and carne asada tacos are delicious and these are some of the best hand made tortillas ever. My favorite authentic Mexican food place in Milwaukie.

Stopped in on a whim and am glad I did! Got the Pollo burrito and it did not disappoint!! Great bang for your buck, big portions and fresh ingredients, definitely my go to when I am out that way from now on. Like others said, this place is a hidden gem for sure.

Their masa para tamales is always smooth and tasty. I've been going there over 5 years. It's ready for you to make it your own!

Big Taqueria fan... Raised in California surrounded by great taquerias. This is a sleeper, but great!Friendly, family run business...All proteins are fantastic.... and they even have Goat!tacos, burritos and all entrees, very well done in Mom/Pop taqueria style.Love the Al Pastor, Carnitas and Chorizo...I'd love to tell everybody... and nobody at the same time.. ;-)

Great food, kind staff :) A little on the pricy side but we can’t blame small businesses for trying to get by!

When we moved here last summer, everyone was talking about some other place. We found this to be way better, no drive thru needed.

The worst Mexican food I've ever had.

We love this place! It's our go to on a busy night and makes dinner super easy. We usually order to go rice, beans, a pound of cooked carne asada and sometimes cooked pollo asada too. It's all delicious! We've gotten their homemade tortillas too, those are also good. My kids love picking out a treat while we're there and we all love the popsicle selection.

Best Mexican food in Oregon. The Al Pastor is 10/10. Great salsas, raw meats, produce, and Mexican snacks for sale.

This was our second visit to Authentic Mexican Food Los Amigos! We've looking for a good mom-n-pop taqueria. Growing up in California, we've had a hard time finding something comparable in Portland. This tiny little place sure comes close....! Besides the complicated name, the place is easy to drive by; being hidden in small unassuming strip mall and located far off the street. LOOK HARD! You'll find it. ;-) This is a funky little place.. Part Latin market, part butcher shop and part Taqueria. Decor is minimal.... a Few rows of tables buried in a store atmosphere. Don't worry... You're here for the food. Definitely a Mom-n-Pop run place, the whole family was in there. No flashy Corporate branding, No Chain Food Cheapness... This is just the rare real deal. Order at the counter. Service with a smile and friendly. There's jumble of Food Photos on the wall... Ignore those. Pick up a menu... Taco, Burritos and Plates on the menu. Variety of Meat selections: Lengua, Asada, Pollo, Carnitas, Al pastor, Chorizo, Cabeza, Barbacoa, Chivo and Tripa. Something for every taste... Simple to Foodie. *I'd love to see a Chile Verde meat selection, but it's all excellent. Lets' talk food! We've made our way through most of the meat selections... All very good with authentic flavors and spice. Lengua - Tender and moist. Asada - simple but good. Pollo - chicken with some flavor.. a rare find. Carnitas - done right. Tender with crispy cooked bits. Al Pastor - Better than most places Chorizo - Some of the best Ive had. Cabeza - Tasty tender bits Barbacoa - The real deal (not that STUFF they pass off at the unnamed Corporate chain) Chivo (Goat) - I favorite of mine, but extremely hard to find. Beans are definitely a home made family recipe... Rice - Firm with depth and spice. It's all good... A must try...
