I used to enjoy going to pick up food here , but now they're doing the remodelling,which incidentally is taking forever, I have to go into the bar area to get the food, and last time I was met by a sarcastic drunk woman, who was a customer, with a big mouth ,so I stopped going there. If they don't separate the bar from the restaurant more people will stop going there

They have the best Chinese bbq pork. Get a combo with pork fried rice and pork lo mein. Handmade pork egg rolls. Everything we've gotten there, no matter protein choice is excellent.

I have been coming here less and less as time goes by. I used to enjoy Chan's before they started construction, but since their renovation began, things have been going downhill. The quality of the food does not match the prices they charge, if the food tasted better then I wouldn't mind paying their dish prices. Chan's has an outdoor patio section, yet as of recently it looks pretty filthy so I would not recommend sitting outdoors. The friendly and attentive service is quite frankly nonexistent now from some of the workers, although their weekend bartender and I think the other bartender is named Ben, have both been friendly and give excellent service. DJ Kitty on karaoke nights always brightens the mood with her singing and never disappoints. I understand that updates to a restaurant takes time, but I haven't been able to bring my family to sit in and eat for months, as only their bar is open. But because of that, we've been able to try other new restaurants within the Milwaukie area, which has been far more enjoyable. Eagerly waiting for their renovation to finish, maybe by then my family and I will return and things will be better.

First order was delivered but if the experience through delivery was this good I will definitely be visiting the establishment. The portion sizes are amazing. Biggest and most delicious egg rolls ever had. The vegetables are so good especially sautéed with the thick sauce. Everything was so yummy. I can't wait to have it for leftovers.
We love Chan’s steakery! Family owned business, excellent food, HUGE portions, nice workers. They have karaoke essentially everyday and while I’ve only been once, it was a hoot. They are in the middle of a remodel so we usually get take out, but are eagerly waiting for the new reveal!

Me and my fiancé went here. It was one of the only things open late, and we literally loved it. We couldn’t stop talking about it on the way home. The guy that was running the bar was our server and he was awesome. We got two combo plates and the portions were huge and the price was great!

They are currently going through a renovation and are in a smaller version of the restaurant. Still, it is worth coming just to see her.
