I had lunch at Hong Kong 97. The food was fabulous. We oreded pot stickers pork chowmain, burnt ends, and shrimp. Lunch was so amazing. Our waitress/Bar tender was wonderful. Very helpful with our orders, kind, friendly and has a wondeful sense of humer. I orders 2 Combination meals to talk home for dinner. When the food arived For me to take home I was given a large Box with All my to go containers in it. It is a huge amount of very yummy food. My husband and I reheated the food for dinner it was Fantastic. We have enjoyed every bite and have enough left for several more meals. Do not judge them by their older exterior..it is worth the adventure.

Great customer service! The food was delicious and was a good portion size. My bestie and I each got a lunch special, so we didn't even pay very much! I totally recommend this place! Plus, I really love the art on the walls.

Have been coming here since I was a kid, and will keep coming back. Literally the best food I’ve ever had. The egg flower soup is 10/10, the rice is always 10/10, generous portions and always the nicest staff. All other Chinese restaurants don’t even come close!
Old ,American style joint. It's cheap and plentiful. Flavors are a bit muted and salt heavy but I do like their stuff.

The atrocious food matched the atrocious service my boyfriend and mother were given today. When they weren’t ready to order, the server went on doing her own thing but when they were ready to order the lady did anything but come over. She casually walked around with a pitcher of water, completely ignoring them to the point they were trying to wave her down very obviously, and the blatantly ignored them. Finally when she decided it suited her, she came to take their order. 3 mins later the food came out and the chicken was hard as rocks and the shrimp extremely rubbery. They asked for boxes and didn’t say anything, but when she came and dropped off the boxes she walked to the table behind them and boxed their food for them. I’m not sure why they felt the need to blatantly ignore my mom and boyfriend, paying customers who are very kind. I won’t be back.

Called at 10:28 on a Friday night to order- food I live in the area. The lady answers the phone and said the kitchen is closed. I said wait a minute. Your website says it’s open till 11 and she goes no it’s closed. I said well why and she goes have a good day and hangs up on me

Used to love this place. JUST GOT DONE BEING DEATHLY ILL after having the general tso chicken 2 days ago. It had tasted good, but some of it was so soggy I was worried it was fried/cooked nearly enough. My god was it bad. Almost went to the hospital. I called in a to go order but got held up so came 30m later then I had ordered, I'm guessing they had made a new order to go but who knows. Won't ever be going back though.
